Originally sought to rebuild existing starter, but discovered windings were burnt out, so I had no choice but to buy a new one. The price was right, and as a matter of fact, I just got finished installing it today. Agent cranked right over and started right up. This starter is for a craftsman 29 inch, 9 hp snowblower. I thought I would never find it, but I did and I am one Happy customer. Big snowstorm coming in a few days, 11 inches or more and this really helps. Came with new hardware but I just used the existing/original . Installation was easy, four bolts, all you need is a quarter inch nut driver and a 3/8 open end wrench and if you are using hardly that comes with the starter, a Phillips screwdriver. Online videos recommend Loctite for the 3/8 screws to avoid coming loose with vibration. I didn’t so I’ll see what happens.

Very easy to install. About 15 minutes and it was an exact fit for my older Ariens snowblower. A short push of the button and it started right up.

So far have put on 2 different customer snowblowers with the tecumseh hmsk110 No complaints yet seems to be working good. Comes with all the hardware and goes right on easily. Super fast aswell.
