Haven't written a review until I used it. Feels like a scuba gear for your ankle. You have to put it like a sock, it's pretty tight, but won't move with water. Has a good grip and the band is what gives your ankle the stability. Used it for the pool and felt good. Dried pretty fast after.

I severely injured my ankle 3 months ago and needed a brace to take with me on a beach trip. This brace did wonders! It’s not bulky so it fit with tennis shoes, chacos, and beach sandals. It also kept my ankle secure and stable during times in the ocean. I highly recommend for both water activity and as a slim brace for day use. It also helped keep swelling down each day. Surprisingly more support than it would look like. I know it runs small. I have size 9 shoe but still went with medium. It is tight and offers more support that way. It could be better but Its the best I could find for waterproof braces. I think it will be sufficient for surfing. It's not like I will be skateboarding with it so it should be fine. Also it is stylish.

I have tried many braces on my 4 month ago sprained ankle, and this item is the only one that is 100% satisfactory. It is easy to use, comfortable, and gives best support. I wear a size 10 women shoe and bought a large brace, which is perfect. I spent too much money tryng less expensive braces before I found Nvorliy, the best ever.

Amending my review below because the seller did reach out & provided me w/a full refund. So I’m greatly appreciative for that. I purchased this ankle brace less than 2 months ago, have only worn it to the beach/in the ocean 3 times so far this summer & it already has a 2-3” hole. It’s ripped along the seam on the side. All I’ve done w/it on is walk on the beach & some body surfing. Salt water from the ocean shouldn’t have weakened the stitching given this is neoprene (same as my wetsuit) & should be seam sealed & it’s specifically designed for water (salt or fresh) wear. And it shouldn’t have happened after wearing it only 3 times.

The foot piece is great. The strap is too short and the Velcro does not hold. The strap pops off from being stretched too tight to wrap around ankle.
