I have had a pair of these for a couple weeks now. They immediately improved my confidence with gait. My wife never even noticed them for the first couple days. They provide enough toe lift so that I no longer occationally catch my toes and lose my balance. They also do not impede plantar flexion as the neoprene cuffs stretch enough to allow normal toe off. Get one of these if you just have a single sided deficit or a pair if you are bilateral impaired so you can walk normally and safely again. They are 100% more comfortable than the expensive hard plastic AFOs. Also, they are easy to put on by yourself if you can bend forwards while sitting. Contrary to some reviews that say that the velcro wears out, it is fine. Maybe those people put them in the dryer and they attracted fuzz balls. Also, those reviews that say the shoe lace strap is too short, I wear size 15 U.S. shoes and the strap could probably extend to a size 20. Overall this is a fantastically designed product that can change your life if you wear laced shoes or sneakers. Buy, buy, buy.

The media could not be loaded. So far it's working amazingly. I'll be taking a long awaited walk soon and will update afterwards UPDATE: Just walked a full mile with no foot drop issues! I'm super excited that this simple device works like magic! Heel to toe! Finally after years of lifting my knee to clear the ground and getting so tired quickly. I could barely walk 1 block. Im able to wear a regular lace up sneaker again. Also very easy to set up on my shoe. Thank you so much for this product. I'm ordering a second one for my other shoes. If I could just buy the clip device separately that would be even better but until then I'll just buy another set up. If you suffer foot drop..please try this. No more ugly orthopedic shoes or clunky brace!

Not a very substantial brace but it does work. It would be better if the strap in front was elastic and could stretch but otherwise it is okay.

I have more shoe options and an easier time moving from standing to all fours in this brace. My ortho have me a great carbon fiber AFO brace, but it is not something I want to wear all day. My family and I just went on a road trip and this brace was comfortable to wear connected to my tennis shoes all day in the car. At stops, I walked in this brace without fear of tripping over myself. It was such a success, I recently bought some open toed dressy sandals. The lower section of the brace does not interfere with the sandal, so I can connect the upper section to it and wear cute shoes again! A couple of pointers…putting the brace on requires a bit of flexibility as the Velcro cinches on the back inside of your leg. If you are flex challenged like me, you might want a little help but I’m determined with just a little practice it won’t be an extra stretch anymore, my body will adjust. I have also worn it barefoot which is a nice break from dragging my foot or high stepping when I want to go shoeless. Overall, at this price I think it’s an amazing product. So glad I tried it.

I cannot speak to whether this device is comfortable, functional or easy to use because it is too small to go around my ankle. I didn't even have to try. As soon as I looked at it I knew it was too small. I suffer from neuropathy and drop foot and have tried just about everything in an effort to find sufficient support, but it always comes down to thin legs versus stout and swelling versus no swelling. I know there are other stout people out there but most of these devices are made for those with thin legs. Yes. I read the specs that said it fits a 12-inch ankle. Because of swelling my ankle is 13 inches. I had hoped there was some leeway but there is none. So thin wins again and it's a return for me.

So I ordered this back in July, after having an infection in my leg that left me with "foot drop". Since wearing this brace, my walking has improved tremendously. I work 10 hour shifts, sometimes 50+ hours a week where I'm physically active and moving around a lot. I wouldn't have been able to do that without this brace and in fact, I only got this job after ordering this. Don't get me wrong, I'm still in a lot of pain, but this brace actually does help somewhat with my pain levels from the damaged nerves. It also helps me maintain my balance much better, among other things. It's quite comfortable to wear and I actually have it on pretty much all the time. I hardly notice I'm wearing it when I'm sleeping, working, or just sitting around the house. This brace changed my life. Basically it allowed me to get a job that offers fantastic insurance (actually Amazon haha), and now I'm starting Physical Therapy as well. I'm hoping with PT, and the help of this brace, I'll be able to drive again like I read in some of these reviews. If you think you might need this brace, order it right now. It's probably the best $27 I've ever spent. You won't regret it. Thank you so much Dosh team. You guys are amazing!
