  • Nailed It! Kid Safe - Not Inappropriate
Style: A. Original Game
I SPENT A LOT OF TIME going between this and Kids Against Maturity. I'm HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE. Was shopping for 10-11 year olds and something adults could relate to/find funny also. Lots of people are mad about a few cards, literally a FEW which you could remove. I actually think they may have removed some of the cards people have posted on other reviews. There are also BLANK cards for you to make your own. This is definitely going to be fun for adults and kids WHO GO TO PUBLIC SCHOOL! There are a lot of SCHOOL related cards. If your kids are home schooled they may not understand half of them for find them funny. That is my only complaint as a lot of the cards are school related. They could have thrown in more that were generic that referenced the mall, store, playground, park, neighborhood, etc... will have to get expansion packs! Cards are also smaller than regular playing cards. Probably best for 10-15 year olds. Kids that are around 8 should still have fun, but maybe not relate as well to some of the cards, and kids over 15 would definitely be fine playing this with younger siblings or if babysitting, but probably not with friends who are 15 and older... I can relate to a lot of these cards thinking back as a kid in the 80s/90s but a lot of current cards that reference things kids are into now. My parents were pretty strict, but I don't think many of the cards would have been found offensive or inappropriate even by my parents. Also, if your kids know to use the cards in a context you find inappropriate then they already learned something somewhere you weren't aware of - kids learn a lot of inappropriate things from other kids, especially if they have older siblings, cousins or friends in the neighborhood. There are a lot of pimple/fart related cards. I think the only downfall to the game is calling it "Not Parent Approved" it is an attempt to sound cool to a kid, but it's not... LOL ... show more

  • Cards against humanity meets madlibs for kids

Great game for kids! A hit at Thanksgiving for bored kiddos. Like cards against humanity g-rated.

  • Hilarious Family Time

Basically as it advertises... it's Card's Against Humanity that's appropriate for kids. From our experience, kids ages 9-18 all had a good laugh while playing this game. The only thing I would say that keeps it form earning a 5* review, is that the grammar doesn't always line up properly. I think the creator of this game could have done a better job making sure that every answer grammatically fits with every statement. It doesn't necessarily make the game unplayable, but it definitely catches up the younger ones who are trying to read the answers exactly as they appear, and don't think to reform the phrase so that it fits nicely in the sentence. Otherwise - great game. Lots of laughs. Good way for kids to get away from the screens and have a great time w/ family. ... show more

  • It's a miracle.
Style: A. Original Game
If you are looking for something to engage in with your kids, you know, the ones who are too cool for you now...the ones who just want to hide in their rooms and only give you one word answers (unless they want something), this is for you. I bought this for our family as a Christmas gift. We just finished our first game and I couldn't get here fast enough!) First, I can't remember the last time my household had so much fun together. All of us and just us having real fun. Most times, I have to beg or force my kids to hang out or 'play' with me. But after one game, they were begging to keep playing so we promised another go around tomorrow. This game is basically boring Apples to Apples meets inappropriate Cards Against Humanity. Gameplay is exactly the same, but the subject matter is appropriate for all ages like Apples to Apples, but creative and hilarious like CAH. My family of 4 sat at the table for over an hour and full on belly laughed to tears! My 2 kids that pretend to hate each other laughed and teamed up (if you have kids like this, you know how rare that is). This is such a great way to bridge the gap between parents and teens/preteens. Several reviews mention some inappropriate content. We didn't come across anything (my boys are 11 & 14) that was uncomfortable, but I went into it knowing we might and looked forward to make it a parenting opportunity. I won't mind if we do run into something questionable. It's a great opportunity for evaluation and discussion in an already positive environment. Based on this, I'll back up the 8+ age range from the manufacturer, if you're comfortable with it potentially being a prompt for discussion. I'm thrilled with it. Normally, I would balk at $25 for a card game, but you can't price what we just took away from this. ... show more

  • Great game for kids, a bit slow for the adults who play it with them
Style: A. Original Game
This game is okay, kind of a copycat of Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity. There was nothing innovative about it. However, my 10 year old son REALLY enjoyed it, and the cards were the exact level of silly for his age. It would be a fun game for kids to play together, and the rules are extremely simple so there’s little to no adult supervision required. The cards are also “clean”, so you don’t have to worry about something a bit risqué popping up that your kid doesn’t understand (or would like explained to them!) I gave it 3 stars because I was a little bored with it, but if you have young kids who can play this together, it is a fun family game that everyone can play, but also one kids can play when the adults have something else to do. ... show more

  • Preteen Grandchildren Connect
Style: A. Original Game
Fun game for young, innocent kids. Adults can connect with kids where they are. We laugh and create fun memories playing with our 11 year old granddaughter.
