  • Enter the World of Darkness and rise through vampire society or rail against it. Experience Seattle - a city full of alluring, dangerous characters and factions, not to mention the mortals at stake in the clash of powers beyond their knowing. In this sequel to the cult classic, your choices, plots, and schemes will determine the balance of power and what becomes of the city and its people.

Description

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 players will experience the game's narrative through two alternating playable characters: Elder vampire Phyre and Malkavian detective Fabien. After centuries of torpor, a deep state of vampiric slumber, Phyre awakens in modern-day Seattle with a mysterious mark that has locked away their Elder abilities and Fabien’s voice echoing in their head. As Phyre, players meet the city’s ruling Kindred vampires, each with their own motivations, and uncover Seattle’s dark secrets while reclaiming their lost vampiric powers. Between nights, as Phyre rests, dreams and voices from Fabien's past take hold. Emerging as Fabien, players enter a neo-noir 1920s Seattle and use his Malkavian abilities to unravel the mystery behind his murder. Solving the case proves challenging, as Fabien's fractured perception of reality, a trait of his Malkavian blood, makes it difficult to distinguish fact from fiction. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is the successor to the cult-classic Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines (2004). Bloodlines 2 plunges players into Seattle's dark underbelly, where vampires struggle for survival and supremacy. Players meet compelling characters, navigate complex political relationships, stalk the city streets for prey, and engage in intense combat while balancing their thirst for mortal blood. The base game includes four clans, each with its own distinct playstyles, outfits, and Disciplines: the rebellious Brujah, blood sorcery masters Tremere, justice-driven Banu Haqim, and the persuasive Ventrue. Players must remain mindful of their surroundings or risk breaking the Masquerade – the absolute law of secrecy that keeps vampire society hidden from humanity.

  • Fantastic VTM Game
Hardware Platform: PlayStation 5
Pretty good VTM game so far. I’d call The Chinese Room AA devs but so far they took the mantle and actually finished this release. I’m glad. Is it up to par with Bloodlines 1? No. It’s a great Vampire The Masquerade game (probably the second best imo), but it doesn’t really equal to Bloodlines 1. Light RPG mechanics but they’ve got DLC coming in 2026. It’s a solid 8.9 ... show more

Great gameplay, and a fun intuitive beginning, which cannot be said of many other modern games.

  • Fine if you know nothing about the previous game; a bummer if you do.
Hardware Platform: PlayStation 5
Could this game have ever met expectations? Maybe 10 years ago. It's fine. It's a little buggy - maybe wait another few months. The main story is interesting enough. But there's just way too much running/walking. It's a little tedious. And the side quests are just boring. All in all, there's too little content and the main story is over too soon for such a pricey and long-awaited game. And I have to say this - they really really should have done better with the soundtrack. The first game's soundtrack absolutely set the tone, and rocked. This one? Way too little, and what's there is monotonous. The difference between Conan the Barbarian's soundtrack and Conan the Destroyer was better than the difference between this and the previous game. I don't want to be completely down on this game. Like I said, the main story -is- interesting enough. But I didn't like the parallel story going on. They really could have done away with it completely. Too little meat for the time spent on it, despite being able to 'zip around faster' in it. ... show more

This game is incredible! Never played the original, but similar to my experience when I played Fallout New Vegas for the first, I’m head over heels. Some reviews might say the game is piss poor, but they said the same about New Vegas upon release. I see this game being beloved by many in the future for sure. ... show more

Hardware Platform: PlayStation 5
Fun game, dont understand the bad reviews. The action is a mix of syndicate from ps3 and darkness. Explode people, control them, wield blood daggers etc. The story is good and scenery is well done. Plenty of games that got gleaming reviews I thought were horrible..To each their own
