  • Great ski rack!
Color: Black Size: Large (6 Pr/4 Boards)
Easy to install and very sturdy. We installed on factory installed crossbars on our large SUV, and we had zero issues. Worked perfectly on a long 4 hour trek to ski. Only issue was low clearance in parking garage at the resort, but luckily we found outdoor parking. Comes with keys and locks to lock racks to your car and to lock gear in rack as well. Super easy to open for loading and unloading gear. I wasn’t sure which rack to get so I actually bought the Yakima EVO for 6 pairs as well. That rack was hard to install, hard to open and wasn’t any lower in height than this Thule one. I returned the Yakima rack and kept this one. It’s really user friendly! ... show more

  • I'm Usually Cheap...
Color: Black Size: Large (6 Pr/4 Boards)
Looked at this, then did a search and found one less than half the price. Read all the reviews and could see that it was worth it to go with this rack. We install it and uninstall it frequently, because it's easy and we don't want to run it through the car wash... We put six pair of cross-country skis, and my longer poles in this rack no problem. Could probably fit a seventh pair but have not tried. It is important to think about where the thickest part of the skis will be, and keep them away from the clamp points, or, if unavoidable, put those thicker areas in the middle. Have had zero problem with anything moving. ... show more

  • As advertised, used but like new

  • Very disappointed with Thule as this is second product I have ...
Color: Aluminum Size: Extender (6 Pr/4 Boards)
Assembly was difficult with the included instructions as they only show pictures similar to IKEA products. Once installed on the car to product seemed to work okay but one side had binding and rubbing when extending the rack. Upon returning from first ski trip with skis the mechanism lever for extending the rack got stuck in the open position and you could not lock the rack back in place or close it on your skis. We eventually had to take it off the car, disassemble it and send it back. Very disappointed with Thule as this is second product I have had that has had a failure of workmanship. Think I'll switch to Yakima rack. ... show more

  • Buy a Kuat switch
Color: Black Size: Large (6 Pr/4 Boards)
I wanted to like this product thought it’s over engineered to fit each one of their racks. Removing the rubber is strange and should not be needed. I ended up buying a Kuat switch not fuss install and folds down.

  • works great
Color: Aluminum Size: Extender (6 Pr/4 Boards)
replaced an older Thule rack. I really like the sliding feature which lets me get all the skis on my suv without the need for running boards on the side of my car. Very easy mounting system also lets me take the rack off pretty easily. This rack does make much more wind noise in my car compared to my last rack. Not sure if this is due to the rack or the new car. Either way, I am very happy with the quality. ... show more

  • A must buy for snowboarding
Color: Black Size: Large (6 Pr/4 Boards)
Fit great on my 2021 4 Runner and was easy to install. Held, so far, 2 snowboards very well. Plus, the rack comes with a lock and key to lock your boards onto the rack

  • Solid ski/snowboard rack
Color: Aluminum Size: Extender (6 Pr/4 Boards)
Easy to install myself. Directions were pretty bad though - all pictures, no words. You can find plenty of videos on YouTube on proper installation. Extender makes it really easy to get the skis/snowboards on and off. Rubber straps are really hard to secure and harder to get off. I used a shoehorn as leverage to pry them off. ... show more
