    • Great for general listening.
The Skullcandy Icon is very light weight and perfect for general use. What I mean by that is it has good sound quality for listening to news, radio talk shows or videos that don't need great sound quality. What I enjoy most is the "FLAT" (not cupped) foam on ear pads as it lets the ears breath better and I can hear things in my surrounding environment. I use it mostly with my laptop when viewing MSNBC and programs like that, I've used it with my phone and tablet as well and all works well too. It pairs easily and connects very fast automatically. Hint this is not a multi-connect headset so if you pair it with multiple devices you may have to pair it each time. It will auto "connect" with the device you connected to last if the blue tooth is on. The mic on it works good and the people on the other end tell me that I sound ok or good. On Zoom calls people say that I sound a little distant or like I'm in a hollow room but no real echo. In other words it works good. If you're looking for a multi-connect headset with better quality sound and mic I suggest the Sound Blaster V2. It's also very light weight with the FLAT foam on ear pads. I wrote a review for that as well. I use that primarily with my phone and tablet for calls and when I'm reviewing videos on the tablet. It does feel a little flimsy but it's pretty hardy. The other issue is that there is no battery status until it's low. The battery does last a good amount of time though. Depending on the amount of use I can general get 2 or 3 days before recharging.     • Great headphones
I really enjoy using skullcandy brand products. Good quality, built to last a while, and amazing sound. Was able to sync it to my phone with no issues. Plus they shipped it well packaged, so it arrived intact and ready to go.

literally the only thing I don't like about them is when I put them in my backpack, it's too easy for somethingto hit the button to turn them on. just be careful where & how to store them when not in use

I’m on my 2nd pair. The first pair lasted me about 4 years. My husband started using them for sweaty sessions at the gym and he eventually wore off the padding. They don’t sell the padding separately, which is a bummer, so I had to order a new pair. However, I didn’t mind because they lasted so long

I always wanted a pair of these when I was a kid. I saw someone snowboarding with them and they looked like they were glued to their head. They advertise a non-slip headband. The headband doesn't feel non-slip to the pad of my finger. The earpads don't fit over the earphones properly so you can see the ugly retention rubber/elastic. The earpads are very slick in texture which doesn't help them stay on. The size adjustment is not smooth and it doesn't really stay in place, it seems to have 3 "zones", s/m/l, instead of a variety of adjustments. The button is obnoxious and gets in the way when you are adjusting, and doesn't include volume adjustment. ... show more

These are perfect to west with a beanie! I had the wired ones for a long time, and once they released the Bluetooth version; I knew I had to get a pair. The control button on the side makes listening to music and talking to your friends on the chair lift seamless and hassle free.
