I love this treadmill! I was able to put it together myself, slowly but surely. It’s very safe for me, but my husband with mild cognitive impairment, will need supervision, or not be on it at all. If the person can’t focus - do not put them on it. This would be the same for any treadmill. I may have given it 4 stars, because when I got to the part “3 stage adjustment block” I thought it was defective because the holes weren’t visible and I couldn’t place the pins. The company responded (via email) within 24 hrs, which was nice. They were willing to send out the part ASAP. So, as I was taking that part off in anticipation of getting the new part, I realized it opened up, and guess what? There were the holes! So not defective at all. I informed the company, and they appreciated it, they will write that in the instructions. I thought I’d mention it here in case you buy one and they haven’t written it in there yet. I’ve been on it 3 days now, enjoy the different programs, or do my own thing. At 70, it’s safer than walking outside in the winter, and saves a drive to the gym. It gives me consistency - getting into a pattern of walking every day. I recommend this treadmill! ... show more

    • Love that it's quiet!
How is it that I had such a hard time finding if the remote and the walking pad would make lots of beeping noise or not? I researched A LOT of walking pads before finally deciding on this one. What sold me on this was that the remote itself had a MUTE button so that whenever you push a button it wouldn't give off a high beep sound. Yes, when you turn on the walking pad it will make a beep sound (similar to when your microwave is done) but that's it. I couldn't find any other walking pad that was this quiet. It does have regular treadmill sounds but not bad. This walking pad is such a great investment for me. I haven't played much with the programs. All I have done is walk between 35-40 minutes at around 2.7-3.2 mph which is enough for me. I would recommend this walking pad! ... show more

I have had this walking pad for about 6 months now and use it at work. I store it under my desk and just move it out when I want to use it (which is 3-4 days during the work week). At first I really loved it, but after a few months of use it started to smell like a faint burning smell when walking for 20-30 minutes and also makes a lot of noise the first minute or so I start walking. It gets ridiculously hot. I have adjusted the belt multiple times and lubed the track but nothing has helped. I have to run a large fan right next to the motor so it doesn't heat up so bad. It still works, just can not seem to get it to not heat up so much when walking no matter what I try. ... show more
