I plugged it in and turned it on…The inside didn’t seem to be getting cold, and the outside got pretty hot. It worried me at first, but I left it on and checked again in an hour. We were looking for a freezer. With the way the world is going the more you can store the better. I wanted a coffin one but hubby wanted an upright. I had already made the room on the back porch and the shelves back their start at 6ft but since he’s the one who makes the money I started looking for an upright. So after going on many sites and price comparing found this and it was a great compromise and a hundred less then anywhere else and have prime so free shipping. It got here dinged up but just on the outside and it’s going on the back porch so what am I going to send it back? Not-each shelf has its own freezing fins. Their is no glass due to this, just wires. Way easy to keep clean now. It’s great so no more frostbite or trying to remember what shelf is for what due to one side being colder then the other etc. It’s like a really, really big wine fridge and holds 2 1/2 more times stuff then my indoor freezer/fridge. ... show more

    • Don’t waste your money!

I bought this and it worked great for a week. I put some frozen food in there and hadn’t opened it for maybe 3 days…and when I did everything was ruined. There was no alarm telling you it wasn’t working. It makes a clicking sounds but the compressor isn’t running. Tried different outlets and noticed it was tripping all the plugs. Definitely has some electrical issues. Now I have to load it up and bring it to UPS while I am 38 weeks pregnant as pick up wasn’t even an option. I am less than impressed! ... show more

    • Works great! There is some ice or frost build up on top shelf due to opening the freezer door.
Fits perfectly. The door is on the correct side. Swings open to the right side. When the door is shut it creates a vacuum and seals. Everything is frozen solid. Also there is a plastic scraper to scrap off excess frost or ice from opening door so much. Change in temperature and moisture in air. Awesome! ... show more
