I'm not gonna rant too long, but i was hurrying up to finish assembling this desk to immediately write the review because this desk deserves more than 5* and the company deserve just as such. I'm pretty sure many of you reading this review, has been to walmart looking for cheap desks (like myself!) and have settled for one of those south shore trash, you know the type that starts to bubble if any bit of moisture hits it. If you're someone like me, who has a home office, this is the desk for you. 1. The box arrived in excellent condition, foam insulation gave it extra protection from scratches and dings, 2. ALL PARTS WERE THERE 3. ALL HOLES WERE EXACTLY WHERE THEY SHOULD BE, AND ALIGH UP PERFECTLY!! 4. THEY INCLUDED EXTRA SCREWS, NUTS, PLUGS ETC. INCASE YOU LOOSE ONE, WHICH I DID AND THEN EVENTUALLY STEPPED ON IT HIDDEN IN MY CARPET. 5. THEY INCLUDED A SMALL MINI SCREW DRIVED, CHEAP BUT STILL WORKS WHICH WAS VERY THOUGHTFUL, THIS IS GREAT BECAUSE IF YOU MISPLACED YOUR, YOU HAVE ONE TO USE 6. YOU DEFINITELY WILL NEED A HAMMER, SCREW DRIVER, AND SMALL DRILL NOTHING BIG ONE OF THOSE PERSONAL DRILLS WOULD BE GREAT LIKE I HAVE IN MY PICTURE. 7. DESK TOOK ME APPROX. 1HR TO PUT TOGETHER, THIS IS BECAUSE I WAS TAKING MY TIME, DOUBLE CHECKING THE INSTRUCTIONS 8. ALL PARTS ARE CLEARLY LABELED WITH LETTERS TO EASILY IDENTIFY THEM 9. IT IS VERY STURDY AND OF BEYOND EXCELLENT QUALITY LAST BUT NOT LEAST, I PUT IT TOGETHER BY MYSELF, WITH NO HELP, I KNOW SOME MAY NEED HELP WHO MIGHT HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES, BUT IF YOU ARE AN AVERAGE JOE, IT CAN BE PUT TOGETHER SOLO. Having put together many boxed furniture items, I'm blown away with the quality of materials and hardware used in this desk. I also really appreciate the bag of extra parts, I didn't need them to put the desk together but may need them later in the event something gets lost in a move. It was fairly simple to put together and took me about 2 hours with intermittent help. (I worked slowly to make sure it went together right the first time.) Anyone else could probably put this together in about an hour or less. As far as boxed, put it together yourself furniture goes, this is hands down the best I've ever purchased and build. Quick tip: In the product guide, it says "Do not use power tools" Use power tools. Pros: Super sturdy! There's a drawer, which I wanted so bad! Cons: Man was the box heavy! Doesn't really fit 2 monitors, but I managed to make it work. (This desk is better suited for a laptop or perhaps monitors that are under 21 inches if you have 2, I have two 21 inch monitors) Due to not using powertools through the whole thing, there are some issues with the screws (The hole sizes are so bizaree, there are a few holes i had to completely make myself) There were several screws that I could not get to go in straight due to how weirdly shaped the holes of this product are. I ended up asking my fiance's mother if I could borrow a power tool and boy did that help out. I ended up using an electric screwdriver (They have so many different names, call it what you will) and used it to get the screws in about 90% to 95% of the way in then used a handheld screwdriver for the rest. (Since it did recommend NOT using any type of powertools, i wanted to be extremly careful as I was unsure of how delecate this product is) All in all, it took me roughly 3 hours to put together (Of course, I'm a petite lady who had some trouble lifting and moving all of these things, so it could take someone else much less time. Like others, the box came with a few rips and such but gosh it sure was heavy, i'm so impressed someone from UPS could even LIFT that. I do not blame them for there being a few rips in the box, plus it was like a box inside a box for me, so it was really well protected. Do not let the people who are saying "My box was just shredded" keep you away from this product. It is 100% worth the money. Plus, if you purchase the white one (like I did) you will be able to paint it so many colors and have designs on it, it's so great. The reason this product is receiving a 4/5 is due to the fact that some of the holes weren't even there, and i ended up having to make them myself. That is the only issue i truly had. ... show more

It's almost what you pay for, but not quite. Some parts arrived damaged, I went through Amazon support to get the parts replaced, had to go through a whole process of replacing the table. After the whole process of sending back a table and replacing damaged parts, I finally put it together - it turned out there were some very essential parts missing(and a lot of parts were so poorly manufactured they didn't even fit). I didn't feel like taking it all apart again and repacking it for the 3rd time (that is a LOT of effort!) so I just poured epoxy on it and called it a day. Please don't expect this product the be anywhere above 2 stars! It looks like a desk, but that's about it. Overall, this purchase cost me so much stress and time that I wish I went to Ikea and bought a similar product instead, spent more and had less problems. PS: The item is heavy, and the packaging is light, handlers ignore the signs and what you get is a destroyed package. This item needs much better packaging and quality control! ... show more
