I put the sofa on my wedding registry because one of my cats got ill and peed all over the hand-me-down couch we had. It had appeared to be a decent sofa, for the price. We recieved it a few days earlier than shipping had estimated. It was relatively easy to assemble between my husband and I - the most difficult part was getting the lone third slider hook to latch on each side, but we finally did manage. As far as the little pieces on either side of the backrest goes, I couldn't get them to slide on from the top for the life of me, then found out that sliding them up from the bottom is the way to go. So, they have to be put on before the backrest is put into place. It is a bit smaller, and a bit firm, but it is comfortable to lounge on. It is sturdy enough for the 2 of us to sit on together (I'm 5'7" and 165lbs, and he's 6'8" and 260lbs). It also helped the livingroom appear less cluttered, and I love the soft texture of it. We did buy a sofa cover from walmart made to protect the sofa from pets and put that on it. We only just put the thing together today, so we will see how it holds up.     • Super easy to assemble but not so comfy
For the price the: size-comfort-assembly is remarkable. Takes legit 5 minutes to put together. Everything has a latch hook that slides in together. The material is so smooth and silky like. The back is very cushioning. Only issue I don't like is the seat part. It definitely needs for cushioning. It's quite firm but for the price and quality I can't complain. I can fit me my wife and 3 small kids. Every one that comes here says they love the couch and can't believe what I paid for it. I highly (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) this couch for a low budget person looking to not spend a arm and a Legg. You get the same comfort quality in this 300$ couch as you would a 1000$+ Especially when it's a good size. Not huge but not small. Very easy to clean. Legit no tools needed or anything. This sofa is an absolute disaster and I would strongly advise anyone considering it to stay far away! Right from the start, the delivery was a mess with the lever arriving separately by USPS, delayed significantly. This was back in January 2023 and the sofa has been nothing but trouble since. The material is horrendous. It constantly sheds fibers from the black cover, creating a mess. This cheap textile is the same as on the chairs I also unfortunately purchased and will be reviewing. Incredibly, after just a couple of weeks, the wooden beam inside the sofa broke! Even after assembly, the issues continued. The cushions are flat and uncomfortable, and the entire sofa is just awful to sit or lie on. It's truly a piece of furniture meant only to be looked at, certainly not for any actual use. Do not waste your money on this Lifestyle Solutions Harrington Sofa. It is poorly made, uncomfortable, and simply not worth it. Save yourself the disappointment and choose a different sofa. ... show more

Couch arrived today, one day late. I was able to set it up by myself and I look forward to surprise my boyfriend when he gets home from work! So far it seems like a great couch for the price. Soft, sturdy, comfortable. Easy to set up. Took me about ten minutes, would have taken 3 minutes with two people. I was hesitant to buy this couch due to the amount of negative reviews. So far I am very satisfied, but we’ll see. Might post an update in a few weeks if anything negative happens. Update: have had this couch for a year. It’s not super comfortable, it’s very narrow, I have trouble curling up comfortably on it. Good for movie nights with friends you don’t like very much. ... show more

I had been looking for a sofa for my apartment for a while. I already owned a red love seat style chair/sofa and really needed another place to sit. Trying to find "red" was really problematic, so I began looking for black sofas, as it is the other main color in the living room area. This particular sofa came up as a suggestion. It was reasonably priced and looked nice in the pictures, so I did order it. It was really easy to put together (I did so by myself). Instructions were clear and it went together in about 10 to 15 minutes. I like the firmness of this sofa but some may not find it comfortable. Just an FYI. I feel it fits my space well, looks nice with the other furniture already in place, and is working well for seating. I would reccommend this to someone on a budget or who just needs some additional seating. ... show more
