Purchased this chair for my son who has seizures. He had a dolly chair kept fallout of it when he would have the seizures. I wanted something more secure and wouldn’t move. The chair is nice is smaller than I thought and not as deep as I thought. It was easy to assemble and the massager feels good on the back. I honestly love the product. My rating is a little low because of a few issues. However, given the price of this recliner, I have to be reasonable with my expectation. I'll start with the positive. I am in a one bedroom apartment, and I do not like allot of cluster. You would think that having a recliner chair is out of the question, right? Well, not anymore. This chair is the perfect size for my home. It is also very comfortable, and the massage settings are great, again considering the price range. In fact, the massage settings are super great, to the point where I have ended up falling asleep, and waking up the next morning without ever turning in for bed. My back did not hurt the next day, no stiffness or discomfort. I've never done that before. The simple clean style of the chair goes well with any decor. From a positive stand point, it is worth a try. (What could be better) Upon opening the box, I found that the material had been ripped near the bottom. I saw not external damage on the box, which makes me wonder, was it packed that way? In all fairness to the seller (and Amazon) there were clear option to return the product if this happens. However, I think this meant me having to make arrangemnts to get it returned, and possibly even having to put it in my small car and get it to UPS, or FEDEX. I just could not see myself driving down the street with a recliner hanging out of my little BMW (lol) Not a good look. More importantly I did not want to wait more days to enjot my chair. I'd already removed a chair for this replacement. (ok, I confess) I hate waiting. The other concern I have is that I've only had it a few days, and I already hear the springs a little bit when I sit down. I can only imagine that getting worse with the age of the chair. I am about 5-11 and weigh a little over 200lb, fairly average size of a grown man, but I'm wondering if I am too heavy for the chair, lol. (Might have to do a few sit-ups.) Should I be hearing springs in only one week, and will the chair wear down on me? That is my concern. I take good care of my furniture, so things normaly last around here until I give them away. However, the lifespan of this chair is questionable. All and All, I still love the product so far, and hope I can get atleast a good year out of it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! First off the chairs are super small! They look like they were made for a child’s room instead of for an adult. They DONT massage at all! They vibrate. I’m 5’4 and the “foot rest” is at my calves. Besides the chair just NOT being worth it, one came missing pieces and the other arrived broken. I called to have the chairs refunded and things just continued to go downhill. At first someone named Amanda was emailing me back and it seemed like it would be an easy refund... it was not. The chairs were too big to fit in my car to return to a FedEx so they told me to print out the shipping labels and call to have the defective inadequate waste of space chairs picked up. I did. I understand the issues I had with FedEx isn’t the sellers doing, but after 5 days of trying to get the chairs picked up FedEx was still playing games. I emailed the seller numerous times to tell them fedex was not picking up the items. I asked if they used any other companies to have the items picked up because I wanted a refund (this is after the whole “let us know what we can do to help script”) I literally showed multiple videos of the packages outside my home with my Fitbit to show date and time... they never came and no help was offered. Amanda had no solutions and offered no help. She literally just gave me the SAME phone number I had been calling. I filed a complaint against FedEx and offered the case number to show I HAD been trying to get the items picked up so I could get a refund. They literally stopped responding. I had to have Amazon step in; in hopes of getting my money back. One of the chairs came with a broken remote, the other came with part of the leg missing. Cavalier has a lack of quality control and bad customer service. Now I have two useless chairs that I’ll still have to pay to have hauled away. Do yourself a service and buy different more reliable chairs from a better seller. Stare clear of Cavalier and Amanda. ... show more
