This storage bench seemed perfect for my needs, so ordered one. The day before it was to arrive I received notice that it was undeliverable. I ended up calling support (I thought my refund was going to come automatically and it did not, but neither was it delivered), and they gave me the option to send me another. I was thrilled with that option, and they even expedited the shipping, and it arrived in a couple of days. The long plastic ties that were wrapped around the box had cut into the box in several places. As we took everything out of the box we found a small piece of broken plastic. Then a few more! Thankfully, all the pieces were from one small area that had broken on the seat. The seat had cracked... about a 3 inch crack, and close to the crack a piece had broken off into several pieces, just bigger than the size of a quarter. Anyway, once it was all together we decided to not return it. But I am wondering if that crack on the seat will continue to grow. Hope not! The instructions are all pictures, most of them quite understandable, and the rest we were able to figure out. We put it together (2 of us) in about 90-100 minutes. At first we were scared about how flimsy it seems, but as more and more was built and support put in, it got more sturdy. One part, the cover for the back rest, never did click in all the way, so there are tiny gaps, but they will never be noticed. The only part that seems like it could use some more support is the seat, and our already has the crack it came with. I think as long as no one jumps on it, we'll be fine. :-) Just not super happy about that part. ... show more

Put this on my front porch and LOVE it! It holds so much and was so easy to assemble. I added pillows to sit on making it stylish and comfortable. The color goes beautifully with my house, and it holds a lot of weight. Defiantly recommend!

If you work in the manufacturing industry like I do, you know that there’s plastic and then there’s PLASTIC. The best way to describe it is you can make anything out of plastic, but the plastic can either be soft or firm. Think of the difference between the plastic your child’s toys might be made out of the plastic or synthetic material. You might see on the interior of your car. You noticed the difference you see the difference. This Falls in the middle. Not the most expensive plastic you can get, but it’s also not the cheapest plastic you can get. I thought this product would be more similar to a fake wooden bench. No, it’s a plastic bench. As soon as you sit on it, you can tell when you assemble it you can tell it’s plastic. It’s actually a bit overpriced I think it gets the job done for what it should be 70 gallons of storage in a well hidden fashion. Depending on your needs, it could work. Read the rest of my review below. The assembly process is straightforward there are a few screws. You have to use to assemble the product to usually hold metal bars in place, but for the most part, everything slides and snaps on click click click. It’s a well thought out design, but I urge you to remember this is plastic or synthetic material. I did have one issue during the assembly process when you make plastic like this the manufacturer usually injection molds the plastic so they have to make sure that all the edges are rounded off properly. They have to make sure all the holes that might be necessary for the assembly process or complete. Usually have a de-burning machine or some sort and a wuality check. Well, I got 2 pieces that failed quality check. Easy to fix in one case you literally just had to snap off a tiny bit of plastic on an edge and make room for a screw hole. Nothing major. On the bottom of the bench where you put 12 screws total in8 of my screw holes weren’t there you could see they should be there the outline of where they should be clearly visible, but they were never punched through. No, I’ll be the first to admit. I am no carpenter. I work in Finance in the automotive industry and I used to be an engineer years ago this wasn’t something that was hard to fix, but it was a quality check that was missed. Functionality wise it does what it should do a simple sturdy bench that has storage. I’ll admit some people in my family are a bit on the hefty side. They are afraid to sit on. It can’t say I blame them it’s a hollo Assembly. Anyone who purchased it will notice that from the beginning you can pick it up by yourself if you’re an average strength male, it doesn’t have a lot of heft to it, but it has functionality. The kids in the family Will sit on it, and I will store my barbecue equipment in it. ... show more
