I love my Romer bike! First time purchasing an e-bike, so did not really know what to do. I did not want to go to low, nor pay too much, so I selected Jasion because of the great look and it could be purchased under a $1,000. The box arrived when promised. It does require some assembly, which worried me since I am not mechanically incline. However, there is a great tutorial video I used. I was able to entirely assemble my own bike in the living room and everything worked perfectly. The bike includes headlights, turn signals, bike rack, and the actual controls. You can pedal the bike on your own, or select different pedal assists. I usually use the lowest setting 1 just to have an assist and still get exercise by pedaling. The bike does have a throttle which comes in handy if you have to stop at a street and want to get across quicky after stopping. The battery life and the miles you can ride are excellent, but keep in mind that results can vary because the heavier you are, the more battery it uses. It also drains your battery the higher the pedal assist you use and how often you use the throttle. The 5 assist can take you close to 30 MPH! I am 6'1, weigh 220 and typically use pedal assist 1, use the throttle sparingly, and can ride the bike about 40 miles. This is amazing! You learn how to gage your battery and I usually turn around and head back when the battery gage reads half. If you do miscalculate, you can still pedal the bike home without assist. Just keep in mind the bike is heavier, so it does take a little more effort. I have found myself in this situation. Caution: I want to bring up that the bike can lurch ahead on its own. I have found out the hard way and wrecked a couple of times. When power is on, if you move the bike and the pedals move, the bike thinks you are pedaling and will jump into assist and start moving. It is important to keep your hands on the brakes or turn the power off to avoid any problems. I've had this bike for over a year with no problems. I purchased a better seat (wider and more cushion); a cargo bag to hold snacks, book, small groceries; an attachment for my phone, and a bike helmet. I found this bike to be a game changer for me. I still have my regular mountain bike that will still use, but I don't ride for long. This bike is exciting and fun. I have lost almost 80 lbs. since I got this bike and always look forward to riding it. I saw some negative reviews, but honestly, I have not had any problems. I got my bike serviced last spring and upgraded my brakes, calibrated the gears, and bought puncture proof tires. I highly recommend this bike!

First ride observation: Whoops, I originally gave it 3 stars after my first ride b/c I thought it maxed out at 18mph, it does, but for the 3rd gear, juust discovered it has up to 5 "e-gears". (just pressed up two more times) Will test next week what the 5th "e-gear" does, but currently, on the 3rd gear, it can go 18mph up a 45 degree incline with very little pedaling... The display is sharp & straightforward. But the turn signal is 50% vague & blurry (not idiot proof - it can be interpreted as just a moving light because it does not conform to the arrow shape) The frame itself feels a bit tight, but maybe because I've been used to Lyft ebikes. It feels like the wheels are closer together compared to lyft ebikes. (I'm 5'6" and it doesn't feel 'long' enough for me, maybe I will get used to it, but I do appreciate the compactness for my apt) My only current issue is that it "stall starts" (is very difficult to pedal start) and while other cyclists are already through the green light, I'm shin twitching forcing my pedals to kick start the motor (will have to mess with the manual gears and see if it makes a difference). But it solved my "hill commute problem". But I'm currently trying to find a balance between me getting some cardio (none) and the ebike completely taking over (it feels like it's doing 95% of the work), I suppose I'll have to lower the "e-gears" when I want to do more work and bump it up when I'm going uphill. It's heavy. Can't lift above your waist level type of heavy (maybe 65-70 lbs? need to eventually weigh it). Bought an aluminum bike ramp so I could get it up and down my stairs to leave and come home. A bit sad that my bike route is all concrete and no more sunset views from walking. Maybe I'll have to change my route for this.

We purchased the Roamer 1200W set of 2 bikes, Blue & Black! The Black is a muted color, the Blue color is shiny! They look very ruggedly built, some nice looking bikes! The assembly was not at all complicated, as both were together in a very short time! An unexpected, but pleasant surprise! The size is just right for me at 5'6"n the low seat position, and perfect for my other half at 6'2" with the seat raised! Upon arrival however, the mount for the display was broken on the blue bike and the battery would not stay into place in the black bike's bracket! I sent an email to Jaison customer support, Lucy responded us in a timely manner! We reported to her what was wrong, then we sent her the requested pictures and a video. Within just a couple days the mount for the display arrived and now we are just awaiting the part to be able to secure the battery, so we can GO RIDING TOGETHER! I have ridden mine only a short bit but I just know already we are going to put some miles on these and plenty of scenery behind us very soon!

Great value for the money! I ride this thing almost every day and no issues so far. It's plenty powerful and the green looks nice. Hits 28mph as advertised. Customer service was fast responsive and took care of me when I needed help. The derailleur guard came bent which didn't allow me to shift to the top 2 gears. Also the screen mount cracked during shipment. They sent me a replacement immediately so kudos to their customer service. I wouldn't mind getting another bike from them
