Update: I've had the bike for 6 months The bike arrived in good condition and was well packed. It actually arrived quicker than promised. Assembly took about 45 minutes, and I had no prob-lems with any part of putting it together. The assembly instructions were fairly easy to follow. The bike is much beefier than I realized. The 4" tires are 30" in diameter. It is a big bicycle! I've only put 25 miles on it so far, but I like what I've seen so far. My only complaints so far are the total lack of instructions for the display and how to change certain parameters of operation. For example, how to change from kilometers per hour to miles per hour. I was able to find help on YouTube and Google, but it should be included with the bike. The bike comes programmed with a high speed limit set at 25 mph, and I definitely needed to raise that. The other complaint is the tires. They are noisy at speed on pavement. But that's a reasonable trade off for tread that works well off road and on trails. On steep hills the bike isn't fast, but it is powerful! I weigh 260 pounds and the bike handles it well, and is comfortable to ride. It's too early to say for sure anything about battery life, except that I rode 15 miles and display still showed full charge. I'll update more later. Overall the bike has proven to be much more than I expected. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchase. Update:. After having the bike for over 6 months and putting many miles on it, I must say I am still pleased withy purchase. The bike is very robust, and has performed flawlessly.

I did not need to modify anything on the bike it works great. I am 5'11" 275lbs and this bike pulls my weight just fine on various terrain. I can now bike as far as I can (20 miles or so) and have the bike take me back home if I get tired. You have the option for peddle assist that also works. The quality of material is acceptable as it does not feel or look cheap. You have to use a key to turn on the battery system on so kind of feels like a motorcycle but not as bulky. It comes with two built-in buttons one for the front light and another for the horn. The digital display turns on by pressing the "M" button. It comes with a decent headlight but no rear red light so I put one on. I installed a phone holder for my iPhone and at night it looks cool with all the lit gauges and lights shining off the dash of the bike..lol. It also had a grandpa rear basket that came with it but not for me so I did not install it. You will need the grandpa basket if you are going to carry any items as all the cables and electronic on it do not make for a hands free bike ride. I carry a backpack if I need to transport anything. It comes with a ac/dc charging cable. You need to remove the battery pack so requires a different key. You will be dealing with 2 keys min and I bought a lock so that is 3 keys that I need to deal with. It's amazing that now I can travel further and explore my area more but also found that I go to shopping centers or McDonald's...lol and have to deal with securing the bike. This is why I had to buy a locking system. Lastly, I have lost over 15lbs without trying and it's due to me getting out and enjoying riding again. Love this bike!

Looking for something unique and reasonable? This is the e-bike for you! Took me awhile one night to assemble. It was pretty straight forward, couple user errors on my part. I like the extra gears compared to the other models. The fat tires add a lot of cushion and control over rough, unstable surfaces. It did take a bit for me to realize the ring on the left side of the handle is the throttle NOT the whole handle like a motorcycle or scooter. Got lots of comments on the cool red rims and the stark, black look. I can't ride it enough! I'm already at 100 miles. I did add the iPhone holder and a rearview mirror that hangs below the left handle. My kids also like the nice ride.

I’m mainly using this for a daily short commute to work. So it’s on paved roads, and mostly flat terrain. So far the battery life has been outstanding. I’ve had the bike 2 weeks now and haven’t needed to charge it, even though it’s been used daily, either to and from work or pleasure riding. So far it hasn’t indicated anything but full charge. Using the throttle only the bike will do average about 20 mph. The pedal assist mode is adjustable so the bike does a little or a lot, depending on where it’s set. The digital display is easy to see, even in daylight, and shows charge status, pedal assist setting, current speed (in either mph or kmh) total miles ridden, and how much power is currently being utilized. It comes with a rear cargo rack and front light, and the display has an integrated horn which is surprisingly loud. Mine came with a broken spoke in the front wheel. The seller was quick to respond, but since they are located in China, sending things back for repair is problematic. They suggested getting it repaired locally and the. They credit the repair amount to your Amazon account. They also credited an additional amount for the inconvenience. If this had been a more serious issue, this could be a problem. I would suggest purchasing the additional warranty which would cover any costs to repair a more complicated issue locally. Returning the whole bike is obviously an option, but difficult to do once it’s assembled and, other than a minor issue, your enjoying it. All in all the bike is an affordable good quality bike with decent power and good out of the box equipment. For Joe Average bike user it will probably be the last bike you’ll ever need. With enough size and juice to go off-road, enough comfort and durability for frequent use, and enough quality to last a while.
