It does everything it’s supposed to! No issues with quality either (no noticiable dents/scratches etc). Remarkably good condition considering not only that this is a restored device, but also that it’s been so long now since these have been discontinued. My last GB SP that I’ve had forever finally broke so I was looking to replace it and I’m very happy that I was able to do so. What I hadn’t realized, is that this is the slightly newer version of the SP than the one I’d grown up with, so the colore are actually even better/more vibrant than my old one. Definitely a bonus. The only issue, which was why I took off a star, is that there was something wrong with the charger. When I plugged the charger into the wall it made a very audible sound that was…concerning. I was too worried to even plug it into this device because it was obviously malfunctioning. So I’m not even sure if the charger worked, I just pitched it rather than take the risk of trying it and having anything short out. I had my charger from my last SP still and that one works well so I didn’t need a 2nd one anyways. Overall very very happy!! ~~~ Here are some of my favorite games for this console in case you’re looking for suggestions on what to play once you get yours: - Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - Spyro SuperPack - Sims Bustin’ Out - Pokemon Gen 3 games: A) Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald B) Fire Red/Leaf Green (FYI each of the A games and B games are basically the same, so you don’t really need more than 1 of either category) - Pokemon Pinball - Pokemon Trading Card Game (this one is a little bigger, it was made for the GBA system, so it will stick out of the SP a little awkwardly, but it plays just as well on this device) - Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town Hope this helps + happy gaming! ... show more

    • Fake gameboy
The entire console felt cheap, I compared it to my original gameboy and all the components were fake and in worse quality. I opened the back panel and it was also a fake motherboard. Had I known that none of the console hardware was original I would not pay anywhere near the 200 I payed. What a scam

I bought this for my girlfriend and she immediately loved it. It was a pearly blue. Her favorite color. Christmas gift aside. It RECENTLY came to my attention that she has not been able to play more than 10-15 minutes on it without the console shutting off randomly. This is a (supposedly) “refurbished” GameBoy Advance SP, not a “refurbished” gaming pc. how hard is it to fix up such a simple game system? How much more must I invest in a fair/good quality system that won’t shut off mid-play? I want answers, or my money back. ... show more

    • Is ok but be warned
I bought mine thinking it was a original gba sp but soon found out it's not at all . That being said it still works fine, but only after I was able to put the buttons back in place. cause when it arrived the off and on were stuck and the L button was as well so after putting it back together again it work fine. So my conclusion is this is a fake gba sp that works well enough. ... show more
