  • Excellent value!
We decided to switch from firewood to pellet stove inside the house. After doing a ton of research we settled on this unit. Received the unit very well packaged, broke everything down, no shipping damage even though the box looked hammered. Did what the Company recommends and did a hard 45 minute pre-burn outside the house before installing to burn off all preservative oils and bake the paint in good, a wise idea as the whole unit was quite smokey till it cooked in After doing the install ourselves ,(we have two Journeyman HVAC in the immediate Family) and getting it piped thru the existing stove pipe, fired it up and haven’t looked back. It’s very quiet, and the ash level is has been almost laughable, (but do get a dedicated ash vacuum). The instructions are very good. We don’t use the remote, I just set it on ECO2 mode and hit the power button when we need it. Pellet consumption seems a bit much, but we’re still learning it’s habits. The unit itself is very well made, very stout, the access doors are cleverly designed. The glass seems to get smoked out quickly, but I suspect it’s because we run it fairly low and slow. Hold on to your behind when you hook this up exhaust-wise, the piping is silly expensive! We’re still into our first Season with it, but the Unit is very impressive in all respects, and it will put out crazy heat if you tell it to. Enjoy! ... show more

  • Love the stove
Was very satisfied with the Bay Watch Stove . Have used for 1 month burned about 1 ton pellets. Cleaned it every day. This morning 12/14/2025 heard a vibration from the area of the auger. Checked the screw attaching it to the motor, it was tight. Still a vibration . Vacuumed the auger out . Had pellets and dust in it. Have burned about 1 ton of Ambiance Pellets since it was new. Need to find a way to get the dust out of the pellets. I was told they are a good brand but its the first pellet stove I have had. Was damaged at delivery but only bent doors on each side. Little early to give it an A Plus. Can not get hold of the Manufacturer for help. they do not return calls or e mails Other than that its a great stove. So what good does a review do if the manufacturer will not redpond and Amazon does not respond ... show more

  • My only regret is not doing it sooner! Worth it!
After a life time of burning wood I finally decided to go a pellet stove. Wish I had done this years ago. I bought this stove because it had the square footage I was looking for and it had the look I wanted. My home is 1650 sqft and it was rated up to 2500 sqft. We’ve had one of the coldest winter in WV that we’ve had in a while and this stove has done great. On the coldest days we use around 60lbs of pellets most day average less than 40lbs. I purchased and installed in late October. I bought 3 tons of pellets and as of march 2nd I still have around 2400lbs left and that’s includes giving to my dad. I have $2500 in everything stove, pipe and hearth pad. Most stoves like this cost that alone so well worth it. No issues with getting smoke in the house. Perfect size for my home. It does take a few days to figure out where to set it but once you figure it out it’s pretty simple. We clean ours daily takes about 5 minutes. We’ve had no issues that a simple reset wouldn’t fix. Most were self induced from learning. I wish I would have done this years ago. I don’t miss cutting wood or over paying for it. ... show more

  • Hopper Door switch is easy to bend
Be careful when loading the hopper. The door closed switch is easily bent and will stop the auger from turning if it doesn't indicate the hopper door is closed. Other than that it has been working very well.

  • Great heat, but you have to clean it. Customer service was quite able to help adjust settings.
I just spoke with customer service to help me overcome the issue I had listed below. I gave them five stars because the customer service was awesome and really helped me understand it. Online is useless. Thank you Andy. This thing is great when it doesn’t bridge the pellets. Almost on a daily basis. I have to clean this thing. I have read through the manual and adjusted the settings multiple times. Always reverting back to factory settings just to be safe. It puts out great heat. It’s just a lot of work. ... show more

  • pellet stove
I am not running it by WI FI because our area gets weak at times and I may lose it. Once I have figured out how the screen functions it has been doing great. The instructions were good, and the blower is very quiet.
