These plates are very sturdy and did well with hot food and food that had a little bit of moisture in it. They last through a whole meal. Our issue was how hard these were to get apart. These suckers stick together so bad! It's like they are suction cupped together. We had them set out on a buffet table and the line was taking too long because everybody was struggling to get these plates apart.
