I like the nets size, weight, small storage and durability. I was able to even use it to bring in a 3ft bonnet shark so I could easily catch and release (Which was rather tricky considering the size of the shark to the size of the net). The build quality is amazing, I haven't used it for anything larger than about 20lbs but it seemed to hold up fine to that. I used it today, catching a pretty fat rainbow trout in the Oregon River. It was perfect, and I absolutely love the fact that the net is covered with a rubber seal. It has its own bag and quickly is storable. I totally recommend this item.

This does not take up much room in my kayak. It's easy to use and handle in a sit-inside kayak. Haven't used it to catch fish yet. Caught a few run away/ lost bobbers, lost items floating in lake after the weekend ..LOL Wanted to try it out in the kayak paddling around lake before trying it on fish. Seems to like it will strong enough to hold fish and last a while. ... show more

Saw that a couple of people had their nets break on the first use, usually with a pound or two. Given that I work second shift and I wasn’t able to head to the lake at midnight to test my net with actual fish, I decided to use my toaster as a weight. The net held up well, no bending, cracking, or ripping. So I consider this a solid purchase. I’m also digging the fact that the net seems to be made of a silicone-ish material that hopefully won’t injure any critters. Well, anymore than the hooks already do. Leave me alone.
