Thick, heavy, big and well made. I can see this thing lasting a long time. The walls are super thick and it keeps my food super cold. I put three small ice packs on the bottom and four small ones throughout (I use mine as a lunch and dinner bag for 12 hour shifts) and sometimes my food comes out frozen! The zipper is very tough as it seals in air. It definitely takes some getting used to. The color is gorgeous/unique. Delivery almost immediate & the cooler was in pristine condition/packaging was quite protective. I wanted this particular size as I felt it would be sufficiently compact to fit behind my driver's seat as we travel; yet, large enough to hold an adequate amount of ice/drinks/and traveling snacks. I found it to b a perfect size & more importantly, a perfect weight. I'd read reviews that had said the zipper was very difficult to use. I, happily, found the zipper worked perfectly. To open or shut the cooler, a 'hard,' consistent pull is necessary, but this is due to the need for the cooler to remain water tight. It works!! The cooler kept anything within it very cold throughout a travel day (typically 12 hours). At that point, I would place the ice pack in the freezing compartment of the hotel room's refrigerator & if there was sufficient room, I would also place the cooler in the main part of the refrigerator. This is my first Yeti cooler so I had high expectations. I did a test at home before I used the cooler. I filled it with ice and let it sit inside with no sun. It lasted three days but most of the ice had melted by the third day. We have taken this cooler to the beach in 93 degree weather and the ice held up pretty good. Although there was melted ice, I would say about half the ice was still there. Our drinks were very cold like they just came out of the refrigerator perhaps even colder! On a hot day, that made this cooler worth the price. This cooler is much bigger than what the pictures show. It holds 9 cans with ice. I filed it as full as possible. I didn't put bottles in the cooler but it will hold a good amount of those too. The cooler is light weight and has a nice solid strap that doesn't dig into your arm. The only thing I don't like is the zipper. It takes a good tug just to get it to move. I assume that is because this cooler does not leak at all. If you are sitting down and the cooler isn't at the right angle, it's hard to open. I applied the lube that was supplied also and that didn't make a difference. It's still hard to open. Other than that, it truly does what it says. It holds a good amount and will keep your items ice cold on the hottest day. ... show more
