Worked great at first but now about 6 months later they have cracked on the upper part near the arch of the foot. One of my Xtratuf Men's 6 Inch Ankle Deck Boot, Brown, Size 10 (the left boot), is making a very noticeable squeaking noise when I walk. I ordered them on November 2, 2022 and though we’ve gotten more rain than usual in Los Angeles where I live, the boots have not been heavily used since purchase. When they have been used it’s only on regular urban sidewalks and pavement, walking from my apartment to my car, my car to my office and then back again. If I walk through a puddle, afterwards the squeak turns into a loud, wet, farting noise, as if liquid is being squirted out, which is embarrassing. I can’t see any visible puncture point in the bottom of the boot, but the seam where the sole meets the trim at the heel does look less tight on the left boot than it does on the right. I've contacted XtraTuf Customer service three times now through both their website contact page and direct email with no response or confirmation that they've received my messages. The fit isn't too bad. I'm a 9.5 shoe size and the 10 is a little too big but fine with thick socks. They're easy to slip on and off and keep my feet dry, but walking around with a boot that farts is, as you can imagine, not fun. ... show more
