Just what you'd hope. Beautifully finished inside and out. It does a good job of maintaining wine temperature. But just remember that this is not a chiller unless you choose to put ice in it. I purchased this chiller for a holiday open house so that we could just leave wine out for guests to serve themselves. It worked fine as it kept the wine chilled for several hours. I did pop it in the refrigerator for a few hours prior to the party just to give it a more thorough chill. The issue I have is that when it was delivered, there was absolutely no protective packaging around it except for the Amazon shipping bag. No plastic bag, no bubble wrap…nothing. They just picked the item off of a shelf and put it in a bag. Granted, that’s how the supplier sent it to Amazon, but come on. Shouldn’t Amazon require better packaging? I am a minimalist and concerned about wasteful packaging but this is a “silver” chiller and easily scuffed. Needless to say, when I opened the package it was indeed scuffed and scratched but I didn’t have time to return it. If you don’t mind getting something that looks really used by the time you receive it then you’ll love this. ... show more

I have 5 of these! The price makes this possible. I use it to make my home coffee/espresso making area neat and organized. I put the various bottles of syrups and flavorings in them. They don't "spot up" and they wipe clean beautifully. They also do a fine job of keeping wine chilled. And, I have also used them for kitchen flower arrangements as they "go" with all of the stainless steel in my kitchen. It is tall enough and heavy enough that it won't fall over. It fits in the cupboard with all the utensils in it when we are hauling the trailer.
