  • Poorly designed, poorly made.
Style: Premium Hot Glue Gun Pen
Nothing about this thing is good. The least problematic issue is that it has no rest, stand or legs of any sort. Unless you have your own separate rest to put it on your only option is to just lay it directly on your work surface. The trigger/feed design is ridiculous. It's not like a standard glue gun where you simply pull the trigger and the glue stops when you release the trigger. Instead, there's a spring loaded mechanism at the back that you have to set, it puts tension on the part that holds the glue stick in place, which involves hooks that dig into the stick to push it forward, and then you press the button. When you press the button the little hooks are released to push the glue stick forward and the glue starts drizzling out the tip. There is no control over the flow and no way to stop it until the spring at the back has run out of tension. Finally, if you're wondering how/why on earth I know so much about the inner workings of this thing, it's because I got a good look when it started splitting open. The glue stick some how got jammed. The gun was hot and should have been working, but I started getting weird hot glue air bubbles coming out instead of glue. I kept messing with it trying to figure out what was going on. Remember the spring mechanism and hooks I mentioned earlier? Those little hooks prevent you from being able to pull the glue stick back out the end and the spring just kept smooshing the glue stick in farther. This caused the glue stick to start bunching up inside the pen, though I couldn't see this happening inside the pen until it was too late and the thing split open. I never figured out what caused the jam and eventually just threw the whole mess away. And incase your wondering, I ordered the Westcott glue sticks to go with it so I would be sure to have the correct kind that should certainly work with the glue pen. This all happened the 3rd time I used it. ... show more

  • junk
Style: Premium Hot Glue Gun Pen
I just tried this today and found it useless. First they include 2 glue sticks. I had some on hand so that is not the issue. The only way the glue is dispensed is by pushing the glue stick. The trigger did nothing. Don't waste your money.

  • Broke on the FIRST use! Eats glue sticks.
Style: Premium Hot Glue Gun Pen
I had really high hopes for this little glue gun when I got it. I do a lot of DIY crafting and I needed a new gun to use just for fabric glue. Unfortunately when I got it, while it was packaged nicely in a little clamshell package, there were no instructions. When I put in my mini Surebonder glue stick it just immediately started dripping out of the nozzle, before I even got my project started. When I pulled back on the plunger, assuming that's what I was supposed to do because I watched the video up above, the little handle snapped off. Unless I continuously pushed on the back of my glue stick glue would not come out of the nozzle. I can't speak to the adhesion of the one glue stick that was provided because I purchased Surebonder brand fabric glue sticks specifically for use with this gun. This is definitely NOT an easy to use item, and at best it is awkward and clumsy. To make matters worse it dripped all over my clothing while I tried to fix the plunger handle. I'll be returning it, even for such a low price of $7 it's not worth keeping. ... show more

  • Zero control of glue flow, awkward to use, eats glue insanely fast.
Style: Premium Hot Glue Gun Pen
Pros: None. Cons: 1) Epically Bad deisgn, engineering nightmare from Hades! 2) You have to cock it like a toy dart pistol to eject the glue from the nozzle. (Ridiculous) 3) When you press the awkwardly placed lever glue gushes out uncontrollably with no way to stop it! 4) When you stop pressing the stupid lever glue continues to pour out until the entire stick is consumed! 5) The description states, "Top-mounted finger trigger allows for controlled glue dispensing", nope! 6) This is the worst hot glue gun I have ever used, and yes I watched the stupid product video! Conclusion: Item delivered and out of the packaging, glue loaded according to instructions and video, plugged in, when hot trigger pressed which is when I started laughing followed by initiating the return. The company putting their name on this piece of junk should be embarrassed to claim it as their's... ... show more

  • Waste of Money Indeed
Style: Premium Hot Glue Gun Pen
I really liked the design for this in theory, and was intrigued by some comments that mentioned it was good for finer details. I wanted to use it for some detailing on a cosplay prop, but unfortunately this ain't it. Every other glue gun I've owned has been pressure based such that the amount of glue that comes out is relative to how hard you press the trigger. This thing is spring loaded. All pushing the trigger does is release the spring, which shoots the glue stick in and floods it out the tip. You either get nothing or everything which makes it virtually useless for finer details. Also God forbid your grip is slightly out of place 'cause the spring loader things will snap down and pinch you every time you trigger it. The only good news is the pen hold design makes it decent for using the hot tip to carve away at the blobs of glue that gushed out, but I wasn't on the market for an overpriced soldering pen, so.... ... show more

  • I wasted my money on this and do not recommend it.
Style: Premium Hot Glue Gun Pen
I was so excited about this product and couldn’t wait for it to arrive. I have enjoyed every product i have ever purchased from Amazon but this one was such a disappointment! It didn’t get hot enough to melt my glue stick and i just couldn’t get glue to come out. I cannot recommend this product to anyone, it may be a lemon but I won’t order another one to see if it is and i Can not return this one as I tore it up trying to make it work. ... show more
