Description

With its continuous and parallel jaws the Joker 6004 replaces several single spanner sizes. The required size is automatically and continuously set when attaching the tool to the hexagon bolt or screw. The integrated lever mechanism securely clamps the hexagon screw or bolt between the jaws, which significantly reduces the risk of slippage or damage. The ratchet feature ensures fast and consistent screwdriving without removing the tool. By using the corner-width rectangular prisms, a return angle of only 30° can be achieved. The single-arm design, in conjunction with the ratchet feature and the corner-width prism, makes it possible to work even in confined spaces. The adjustable Joker 6004 is the universal screwdriving tool. Self- setting. Gripping. OUTSTANDING! These are of the quality that is sorely missed in today's products. Fit-and-finish is exemplary, and the in-hand feel is comfortable and solid. These wrenches work beautifully, especially in tighter spaces. I just got them so I have no input as to the longevity of the springs that makes this fantastic tool work, so stand by for more on that. Yes, these are a little spendy, but they are worth the money. I cannot recommend these highly enough. The media could not be loaded. I was thrilled to get these wrenches. The idea was to try and replace a pair of Knipex pliers-wrenches. The Jokers are incredebly robust. Great feel in the hand. There is some play in the head of each, but it doesn’t hinder thier operation. They are a little more bulky than expected, mostly in in the head itself. The heads of the larger sizes are very thick. The carrying case is very, very well done. An afterthought for most tool makers, Wera packages their tools extremely well. Within an hour of using the wrenches, I became used to them to the point where I was no longer using the thumb pawl to open them before seating them. Simply butting it into a fastener and pulling the handle to one side works well to open the jaw. The ratcheting is superb. The wrenches loosen and grip like no other, without having to adjust your grip, unlike the Knipex. As you can see in the video, these are the best tool I’ve found for servicing hydraulic fittings. I can’t wait to see what else they can do. And yes, I’m going to be ordering the XXL. Thanks for another winner, Wera. ... show more

Vera has done what would have seemed improbable: major improvement on wrenches where the basic design has remained unchanged from time immemorable. Far superior to traditional screw adjustment wrenches for easy access fasteners: some rotation is required for the self gripping action to work. Set of 4 means that, unlike my two wrench set, there is always a size that is a good fit for any sized fastener. Expensive, and a significant part of that has, IMHO, gone into the packaging and pouch. For my usage none of this is required and will go to landfill. Because of this the 4 rating instead of 5. The open ended wrench set (also innovative) has a very useful plastic clip (innovative) for keeping the set together. Something similar for the adjustable would have been useful for me. ... show more

These wrenches are very handy, and they grip the flats of the fastener tightly, preventing deformation or rounding that might occur from other wrenches. If you can only have one set of wrenches, get conventional combo wrenches with a box end and an open end. But if you need a bigger arsenal of tools to get the job done, these are very nice. ... show more
