Ok so I will start off stating I don't usually do these but on this occasion I will make the exception. This is a great compressor for what it is supposed to do, however I bought this for a completely different reason. I bought this to replace the one that went bad on my Case IH 1235 stacker bar planter. For the other farmers out there yes it is the same one case parts is asking a hell of a lot more for, only thing you will need to swap out your filter assembly. I would take a note from this kit and move the filter to the cab where there is less dust. This is an excellent little continuous duty compressor filling 12 down force bags and a tank keeping around 100 psi. So if you are wondering if it would be good for you vehicle just remember they put it on heavy equipment. ... show more

Had to replace my old one that lasted 13 years for my air horns. Outstanding item dont buy anything else. Was going to rebuild my pump but just for a little bit more just got a new one.

    • Works ok -- makes enough air to reach my shutoff pressure.
The bolt holes in the feet are _very_ close to the body of the compressor. If you use long bolts, they will be hard to put in. I have this unit hanging upside-down under the bed of my truck. It was a b**ch to put in, because the feet are so close.

I had 2 of these compressors installed on my Silverado to fill a 10 gallon air tank. They worked flawlessly then, and still work without any problems on my Jeep. After a few years of running these on my bagged truck, I now run one on my Jeep for the trail. I chose the 350C over the 450C because of the size. I had two mounted in the engine compartment of the Silverado. Now one is mounted in the cargo area of my Jeep. It will fill a 33" tire from 5psi to 35psi in about 2 minutes. Amperage draw is not that much, but put a relay to save your switch. ... show more

    • Just what I needed
I built a compressor/tank setup for my airhorns and to fill my airbags. My original compressor fulfilled it's purpose for years but it finally died. This compressor is twice the size and built twice as nice. The cylinder is aluminum with large heat sinks to disippate heat, the stainless line with check valve is an awesome addition since I had to plumb mine with copper because over time the nylon air brake line I used melted from the heat produced by the compressor. Light? Didn't want a light, just a compressor to run an air slave cylinder for an exhaust brake. Works great. Came with two filters, air suction hose and fastners.

This is much bigger than the Kleinn HK2 kit compressor. A little noisier and more vibration, too, so I added Lord mounts (vibration isolation.) Compressor looks good, is working well three months in. Bought it because it's 100% duty-rated. I would recommend this to a friend
