Outstanding, strong, sturdy, very helpful with weak or incapable patience. Lso helped with a heavy box or two off the floor to a shelf. Rolls very well on carpet and tile or hard woods. Comfortable and worth every penny. We own the higher level model as well. The only downside I see to the cheaper version is the handle bars are like a hand dolly and if your buying for an older person to push or pull their partner go up a level for the wrap around bar style over the two handles. It was difficult for my 70 YO mother to use this handle style verses the bar. But it works great for my in laws. Who are stronger in the hands but still needs help getting someone up off the floor or couch.

This is a proper floor lift. It will raise you off the floor to a seated position 20" high. I love mine. It has saved me from calling EMS when I fall. I just scooch up to the lift, manuver myself on the seat, and push the button on the remote and moments later i am in a seated position, ready to transfer to my wheelchair. To me it's a life saver. It is heavy duty, but light and easy to move.

In November 2025 at 1:00 am, my 82-year-old, 190 lb husband of 54 years took a fall. I am 79 years old weighing in at 110 pounds. Although I tried, it was physically impossible for me to help him stand. I had to call the paramedics and bless their hearts, they helped him back into bed. Fortunately, he hadn’t really hurt himself. The next morning I went onto Amazon looking for a chairlift. To be honest, I bought two because one could be here the next day and this one was going to take a few days. As soon as the first one arrived, I put it together. It was very heavy, loud and it didn’t move very smoothly, but at least I had it. When I received this one, I also put it together.. It was lighter in weight but still a little heavy but moved smoothly , over both floor and rug, and it was quiet. This was back in November 2025. I immediately reboxed the other one, which by the way, cost quite a bit more. and sent it back. Just a note my hubby has dementia and I have cameras to help me know what’s happening, as I proceed to get things done in the house. Yesterday he decided to sit down on the bedroom floor. He then picked himself up and went back to bed. A little bit later, he again sat down on the floor. This time he was unable to get up. I went upstairs, concerned that the chair might not be charged. I turned the power on, and it was ready to go. I proceeded to put it behind him, had him scoot back onto the chair, and had the chair lift him. It was fabulous. There was no problem. He felt very secure. He proceeded to stand up using the armrests and got back into bed. I cannot say enough about this chairlift. Since I hadn’t used it, I wasn’t sure what would happen. I recommend this chairlift to anyone who might have a similar problem. It is a Godsend!

It works well. It lifted me and also my husband just fine. We have a metal Hoyer lift that cant fit into places this one can. Also this lift can be rolled out to the driveway in case of falls getting out of the car too. I have the knowing that we can count on these lifts and not call on neighbors. Neighbors have said that they don't want to lift a 200lb man again, so this is a very good option.

The casters have a solid round core (non-moving part) and a thin outer ring around the solid core that is the rolling part. Very sturdy and stable movement, which is comfortable for the seated person even on some types of carpeting.
