Description

To restore your vehicle's factory cooling efficiency, all TYC radiators are equivalent to OE construction for number and placement of fluid tubes and cooling fins. For those radiators with transmission oil coolers, the tanks are molded using heat-resistant, high-density polymer plastic for added protection against extreme engine temperatures. Each TYC radiator is leak-tested before leaving the factory to ensure consistent quality.

  • Fit just like original
Very good price, fit just like the original radiator. No problem on install. If I need another radiator for any other vehicle would buy from tyc manufacturer. Was told by a friend that most body shops use this brand when not using oem parts.

  • Best radiator for the price
I was worried buying a radiator for this price, but I went for it. It's been doing great I got hot heat now. Don't leak a drop!! My 97 cherokee xj still had stock radiator so it was do for another one. If your looking for a good radiator for cheap, this is the one!!!!

  • Garbage
Bought an old XJ and began fixing it up. Found out the heater core was toast and decided to do the rest of the cooling system at the same time. I found this unit with good reviews, but have had nothing but issues. The neck ended up being too short and newer caps collide with the top metal piece that holds it in. Several caps were leaking till I realized that the neck was too long and there wasn’t a strong enough seal on the caps (multiple manufacturers). Eventually, I added an extra gasket and bent the tabs on the cap to get a tighter fit and finally no leaks, but this should never have been an issue. I’d look for something a little nicer and wish I’d spent a little more for better quality and fit. ... show more

  • Keeps my 4.7L stroker at the correct temp.
This was for my 98 4.0L Jeep Cherokee. I had a hard time getting one side in. This has a bulge on one end my old brass radiator did not. I bent the sheet metal a little to get it to fit. It’s possible it fits fine and my jeep isn’t right. It’s old and has 250k miles probably been hit once or twice. Works good. Keeps my 4.7L stroker right at the correct temp, and this is only a two core radiator. ... show more

  • Easy to install and fit exactly.
This fit perfectly in my 1993 Jeep Cherokee Sport (5-speed). There was an extra hose for Jeeps that have the air conditioner combined with the radiator, my jeep has the air conditioner separate so the extra hose is just extra. It was super easy to install and the Jeep has been running perfectly.

  • Still holding up.
Needed a radiator for my Cherokee. Ended up buying a Spectra brand one, installed it and it lasted about a month before it started leaking. Figured I'd try TYC, so far so good! 10,000 miles and a year later no leaks. For a cheap replacement id recommend this.

  • Good fit
First one came in what was an obviously opened box. Staples were pulled and it was clear taped shut. Pulled out radiator and it was twisted and unusable. Returned for replacement which came and installed easily, perfect fit. Oh and if you don't know how to do the transmission line at the bottom, then you should google it before destroying it. If you do it the factory way it's time consuming and a pain but if you alter it, it will go together easier. Four stars only for sending me a defective part and wasting my time. ... show more
