I just purchased one of these 8 cup mix and store pitchers to replace one I've had for almost 30 years...in fact these things are so durable that the old one is being retired to plant watering duty. This pitcher will last and last....I put all kinds of stuff into mine and used metal blender blades in it and the only thing that ever went wrong is a couple years ago it got dropped with about 8 lbs. of frozen soup in it and two pieces of the base broke off. Also, after all that time the colored measurement markings were pretty faded. So now you know that even though Tupperware is sometimes a bit more pricey than what you can buy at the local stores, it's TOTALLY worth it! ... show more
