It had everything I needed to get started. Order your control test kit to test before you start using. The Bluetooth connectivity doesn't work, but the meter is still excellent. The size is average compared to others and the glucose readings are accurate. The app is handy, you just open it and press log and just enter the number from your reading, it records the time and everything. Won't even have to do that if the Bluetooth works for you!

This is a great little meter. I purchased it out of my own pocket so price was important. More important than that however is the low price of test strips. The meter syncs flawlessly with my iPhone. The one big drawback in my book is that the app doesn’t sync results with the Apple health app (hence -1 star). According to the company they don’t plan on adding the functionality either. Fortunately I’ve figured out a work-around that I’m okay with. If you don’t need/use Apple health I would not hesitate to buy this.

Everyday twice a day diabetics check their blood sugar you stink your finger check your sugar and then write it in your logbook. This meter makes it a little easier because if has Bluetooth in it so you download the app for your phone and it sinks the data into your phone. No more forgetting the blood sugar and having to do it again and not having to log it everyday but it’s great.
