My 3 year old son loves Thomas the Train and we wanted to get him a winter book about Thomas for part of his St. Nick's Day gift. He loves this book and has already asked us to read it to him multiple times! The story is slightly longer and, at 24 pages, would probably take you between 5 and 10 minutes to read to your child (give or take a few minutes depending on the number of questions and pictures they want to look at!). I love how Thomas and Friends teaches kids simple, friendly lessons and this one is a great one that shows how Thomas is a hero when he helps another engine who is stuck in the snow. He puts on his snowplow even though his friends tease him that it looks funny and he saves the day. This book has great pictures, a wonderful story, and the price was excellent. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is a Thomas fan, especially this time of year! ... show more

Son loves the book. My issue lies with the HEFTY damage to the book itself. I had to go back and look at my details to see if I purchased this used. I had not. The exterior of the packaging had no damage, which tells me they sent me an already damaged item. For $4, I really shouldn’t complain, but the book came in some seriously bent conditions. Great addition to our Thomas collection. The kiddos love the Thomas stories and movies and it's nice to have a series that keeps them interested in reading. They like getting new books in the Thomas series. The pictures are very nice and the story is well written

Our 21-month old son is all about Thomas these days. I ordered this book for Christmas and thought it would be fun since we live in an area with snow and we see snow plows everywhere we go. He loves this book and requests we read it all the time. I would recommend this book for all ages for the story alone, but be careful for the younger ones who might rip the paper pages. For a 1 yr old I had to summarize, but the message wasn't lost! He loves the Thomas books ..and so do I. The illustrations are as in most of the Thomas books, importantly a key component of understanding the story.

My son loves this book! I got it for one of his Christmas books and wasn't sure if he would like it or not because he was just getting into Thomas at the time. He is now very into Thomas and loves this book. He asks to read it all the time. It is the perfect size and such a cute story.

My grandson is 31/2, but he has recently been "taken" by Thomas. It really helped during a recent snowstorm on the East coast when he was overwhelmed by trying to walk in the snow. He also was afraid of the heavy plow trucks shoveling snow along the roads and spraying salt. This helped him to understand that Thomas had the same problem. ... show more
