I was looking for a really nice warm coat to wear to work. This one is warm and well made. I wasn’t used to double zippers on some Northface coats. My Northface jacket didn’t have that feature, but it’s a lightweight jacket. It’s a nice feature, zippers are sturdy. It’s very comfortable, not bulky. I was in need of a new winter jacket, and purchased this one. It is so warm without being too puffy and over powering. It’s so comfortable and the quality is great! It’s also very stylish.

I was shocked at how flimsy this coat was. I tried it on when it was 21 degrees, no wind. My arms and back were cold within 3 minutes. The coat felt like two layers of thin fabric with no down. Whatever down they put in, it was VERY little. I was tempted to cut it open just to see what North Face considers down-filled. No inside pockets. Cheap elastic cuffs (reminded me of the elastic in a shower cap). Unbelievable that this thing costs as much as it does. If it were possible, I'd give it zero stars. I think the cardboard box it came in probably offered better insulation. ... show more

Like everything about this jacket, especially the length and the double zipper It’s very warm but not heavy Looks good and wears well Would have appreciated an inside pocket and maybe a Velcro strap to secure the hood in the wind But it’s a great warm jacket

Game changer! I’m an XS 100-115 lbs and it fits an XS . If you want roomier maybe go S. at first it felt like I couldn’t add a sweatshirt underneath but I can! Comfortably. It’s just fitted up top. 50 Fahrenheit west coast weather with a V neck sweater and the parka and I was so warm. Kept congratulating myself on deciding to finally purchase a long parka. It’s so light but keeps me warm as a sleeping bag. The black is nice and matches everything. I also like that it’s above the knees in front but hangs lower in the back in a U shape. Also wore it in slightly warmer temp with a t shirt and jeans and it’s a great wind blocker for winter. ... show more

I love the close fit and unlimited mobility. I’ve tried on dozens of others over the years, all from reputable brands, that are bulky, stiff, and crafted from materials that seem inappropriate.
