So, my wife loves this fountain for our very small 12'x5' garden. The product is decently made, reasonably sturdy and overall good looking. The product arrived expertly packed with no visible defects. We charged it up precisely according to the instruction booklet and 1 of the 3 lights did not work, regardless of what we did. I called amazon and they offered me to return it, but had no replacement for it. They gave me a token credit on my account which I accepted because my wife liked it that much and was willing to deal with the light in the upper bowl not working. I normally would not accept this type of defect, but everything else about the product was good. The light issue seems to be one that other reviewers have pointed out in the past. I was going to contact the manufacturer, but this model does not appear on their website, so I assumed it was a retired model and they would most likely not be able to help me, although I never did give them that opportunity. I see the product is back on Amazon from a different seller with a delayed ship date, but it really isnt worth the hassle to return and re-buy. Despite all of it, I dont like giving less than 5 stars unless a product really sucks and this one does not. It does look great in the garden, the sounds of the waterfall is soothing and you only notice the dead light at night. ... show more

After buying less than quality fountains this one is perfect! Easy to set up, just keep the solar panel in a well lit location. The water sounds beautiful. With the heat this summer I typically add about a 16oz glass of water a day. Also, would recommend adding a little white vinegar to help keep the lines clean and bubbles down. Love the lights on the fountain at night as well! ... show more

I followed all the preparation steps, charged in direct sunlight 2 days before setting up and turning on, placed in a good spot for sunlight, always made sure there was enough water, everything was great! To my disappointment, about two and a half weeks later, not even a whole month, and it won’t turn on. The lights and pump no longer work. I wrote to Amazon customer service about getting ahold of the seller and trying to see what can be done or might have gone wrong because I REALLY like the idea of a solar fountain, but apparently “the chat went idle for more than 2 minutes and needed to be ended”…. I was waiting for a response from the rep… now I have a decorative fountain that does not function. So 1 star for low quality and value for money. ... show more

The only negatives are minor for us. The LEDs are not very bright. However, we located our unit near our deck. Love it when we are relaxing outside. It won't run 7 X 24. Really OK in the evening! Usually runs down in the middle of the night. Charges quickly when the sun rises. TIPS: Be careful reaching inside. There are sharp corners and mine had a couple of casting shards inside. The extra cable is a replacement LED. DO charge the unit for at least a day before using. The 3 wires on the charger hook directly to the 3 LED wires on the fountain. No special order! Screw snugly to keep dry. There is an On/Off switch on the back of the solar panel. Use it for first charge, especially if no water yet. Do not run the pump until you have water in the tank. ... show more

I bought two of these and they barely worked 6 months. Tried everything. Looking for a solar replacement. When they did work I would have given 5 stars. It was lovely.

This fountain is beautiful and easy to setup, but the solar panel is horrible. There is clearing a flaw in the design of the solar panel. We had 1 rainy day and the panel has not worked since. I enjoyed the sounds of this fountain for all of 5 days until it no longer charges. There also is no option for just the replacement of the solar panel. I would gladly accept a replacement panel, the panel is the problem. UPDATE I was able to contact the seller via their website and they sent me a replacement panel. They were quick and helpful. I love this fountain I’ve had it for about two years and it still works like a charm. There is some peeling of the paint, but that’s an easy fix. It’s very soothing and pretty.
