Fits vinyl records easily with plenty of spare room on top so that you can stack without touching the tops of the records. These were the best crates I could find for that purpose. Nice handles and interlocking design. They are pricey, but they are heavy duty. Only thing I noticed was that after stacking for an extended period of time filled with records (but not exceeding the weight limit) the bottoms of the top crates bowed down a little. I rotated them to the bottom and they seem to have flattened out. Very easy to work with the seller to accommodate a specific color combo request. Thanks a bunch! Extra tip: Save the shipping box to cut apart and line the sides/bottoms of few crates.

I've ordered Super Crates 4 times now. I have a total of 20 with 4 more on the way. Maybe that sounds a bit obsessive; but cardboard boxes are the pits. Standard 4-gallon milk crates are a fantastic storage concept; however, they are just a little small for many standard sized items. Super Crates are just enough larger to accommodate the many things that are based on 12-inch dimensions plus packaging, e.g., vinyl record albums. My album collection has now surpassed 1500 discs. Yes, custom shelving would be nice; however, I have neither the space for such shelving nor the resources to build it. Super Crates to the rescue. Record albums fits perfectly. And, the crates can be stacked with their openings to the top or to the front. Plus, as heavy as record albums are, a Super Crate loosely filled is still quite manageable. I've got mine arranged in stacks of 4 with their openings to the front in a large closet adjacent to my den where my stereo system is. Out of sight and easy access. One more thing - and this is a biggie! The kind folks at Farmplast are most accommodating if you prefer colors other than the mixed variety listed on Amazon. Just drop them a note when you place your order and they will be glad to send all one color instead of the mixed set. Definitely deserving of 5 stars - both the product, the company and its employees.

After several attempts to buy crates that would hold my vinyl collection. I finally found these! Suuuuuuper sturdy and wide enough to hold albums with a little room to spare. I plan to stack them to save space. Plus they are made so well I don't have to worry about them bending or cracking etc. I plan to buy a couple more!!! They come in multiple colors too!! Also, seller is amazing. Although the crate package was for 4 different colors. I reached out to the seller and asked if I could get all white. And that's what I got, all white. Also, they arrived 6 days ahead of schedule!! I am very happy with these crates, the price and the seller!!! 🙂

This company cares how well their crates are made. I already have four of the grey colored ones and they are great. Perfect to store my vinyl collection in. I needed more so I went straight back to this same company and got me some more colorful choices to spice things up. Very well made are these, just like the grey super crates they will join. You don’t often find crates made this well by just anyone. This company knows how to make a great crate. Some don’t like these for this purpose, but since they are perfect for vinyl, they are perfect for me. My collection has grown. More crates are needed. Buy these and you won’t be sorry! Best made crate period. Way sturdier than any others I have seen or used. You can get them in grey, but they come in these great colors also. You can buy a cheaper crate and get what you paid for or you can buy these and buy them once and be happy in it! These don’t fold. Don’t know why that category was put on the starred evaluation page.

A standard milk crate drops inside one of these. Their taller as well. Just as sturdy. Make sure you understand the actual dimensions applied to your available space.

Have ordered about 6 sets of these for my vinyl! No other product comes close in durability and fit. If you collect vinyl, these are perfect. Stackable and can be ordered in a solid color! Will buy again!

Great product but NOT stack-able with standard milk crates; these are bigger in all three axes and have radiused outside corners. I assumed these were standard dimensions but extra tall, which is what I wanted, but I failed to verify before I bought. Regardless, these are very well built, at least as sturdy as standard commercial milk crates. They are also good for far more than warehousing a bunch of musty old vinyl records. I will probably buy more since these have proven to be useful for specific applications and worth paying some money for, over readily available and "free" standard milk crates. Seller will tailor the colors for you if you message them with your order info.
