I was planning on giving this product 5 stars. As long as I made sure to charge it, this iron held charge long enough to allow me to curl my short bob without ANY issue. Compact and portable, it was a game changer for me. HOWEVER....it is getting 1 star SOLELY because of the lack of customer service. The 2 halves of this iron are held together by a metal pin that is secured in place with 2 plastic caps. After only a few uses, the plastic caps broke and the metal pin came out. The iron is unusable! I have no idea why the plastic caps broke because the iron was never dropped and was always packed deep inside my toiletry bag. I assume it was from the repeated open-close movement, but THAT'S WHAT YOU DO WITH A STRAIGHTENER/CURLING IRON!! I contacted Amazon Customer Service who told me to contact the manufacturer. I went through their little checklist of why I was trying to contact them and they kept referring me back to Amazon. I tried so many different ways to get in touch with someone because I wanted a REPLACEMENT! Not a refund! I loved this so much that I was willing to try again. Sadly, I got no assistance and now I am here warning the rest of the world....

This cordless hair straightener and curler - 2in1 - is very lightweight, easy to set up and use, and I do believe would be perfect for traveling. But that's about all I'd recommend it for. If you are looking for a hair tool that you can do your hair for a long time, this is not what you need. I do think it does a good job, for the amount of minutes it works, but mostly for touching up or a quick little straighten. I also really like that the cord for charging is one I have on hand already, so it's easily able to charge when you need it to. And it does get hot, so please be careful while using.

However, I recommend it primarily for those with thinner hair types since it might not have the power for thick hair, yet somehow, my think hair worked with the product well. Yes please 🙋🏻♀️ My favorite way to use it is in the car when we’re traveling out of town. If you’re like me and sleep in until the very last minute you either have a cute makeup face or cute hair. Usually I pick my face because I don’t have time to do both. Now, I don’t have to choose. It is small but mighty! This baby heats up in less than 30 seconds and a full charge will give you 30 minutes of use before having to charge again. It has 3 different heat settings and comes with a few helpful accessories. It’s easy to use, compact, lightweight & My hair looks nice and smooth and the curls last all day. I will say that after using for some time, the battery life is not great and the battery life no longer lasts for 30 minutes at a time. Also the opening where you place your hair in between the plates does not open wide enough and can be a problem at times.
