Very impressed with my entire experience with Stealth and Dean Safe. They emailed me right after I placed the order to let me know the instructions for delivery, sent me a tracking number the next day so I could easily check on my shipment. Very fast turnaround! DELIVERY: The delivery company called me to schedule the appointment and did a great job of delivering the safe. It arrived in perfect condition and looks like it’s going to be a great fit for what I needed. PRODUCT: It’s not a super high security safe but is CA DOJ approved which was a must for me living in California. They put a lot of nice features inside the safe that I didn’t know I needed until I started filling up my safe. You can move around the accessories on the door panel organizer to how you want it, which is a very useful and fun feature I didn’t even realize I was getting. Very convenient to have a Plugin for electronics inside the safe. The lock was extremely simple to use and the instructions were very clear on setting my own code. I am very glad this safe doesn’t have a key override after watching so many videos and seeing how easy it was for anyone to break into a high security safe by just picking the lock. My buddies told me the safes with the key backup are usually the ones that have locks that are going to fail. The paint style is so unique I’ve already had friends tell me how much they like the paint when I was showing it off. The company makes all their instructions and information very clear and easy to understand, they even provided a link to their instructional videos on - I am more of a visual learner so the videos were extremely helpful and easy to follow. This is an awesome, sturdy, and heavy safe. I found some extra space behind the wall in my bedroom closet, and I decided to build the safe into the wall, where it's now hidden. Take my advice. Remove the door before you attempt to move the safe. It's very, very heavy with the door. Door removal is simple enough. Just open it, and lift the door off the two hinges, where they're seated and held by gravity. Just lift the door about 2 inches, and it comes right off. Pretty manageable to move afterwards. I like this safe for its size and weight. It is large enough for storing all my guns and a lot of ammo. I know there are bigger stronger ones out there but I’m looking to keep my guns locked away from young visitors not home burglars.

    • Overpriced for what you get.
First off, there is no way to store 14 "long guns" in this cabinet unless they are all single shot 22s with no scopes or accessories, and they are crammed in there with no space to spare. Realistically, you can get 6-8 rifles in there. Second, it appears that you can mount the safe to the floor through the feet. I think you'd have to be a particularly strong octopus to pull this off. I finally realized I can just remove the feet and install the lag screws through the leg mounting holes in the bottom of the safe. Third, the supplied lag screws are way too long unless you could manage to install them into floor joists (not recommended for structural reasons). I went to the hardware store and bought 2" lag screws instead. Fourth, I can see how the door might be 30-minute fire rated, but there's no way the rest of the cabinet is. Fifth, the keypad is weird and does not match a standard keypad layout. Good luck entering your code with any speed. Overall: it would be worth it for half the price. Great safe for the price. Shipped and packed very well. Not sure that he can really hold all the rifles as described, but I like the safe overall. Easy set up and I’m very pleased.

    • It's a safe, not a cabinet
I bought it to hold 2 rifles, 3 pistols, ammo,cash and silver which it does very well. Well made. Quality product. The lag screws used to secure to concrete floor should be of higher quality. One broke during install. Overall 4.75 stars.
