the game arrived in a cardboard insert with the game and the artbook. the inside of the game has a download code to download the dlc. as for the games, it's just good old classic games, with new characters and 16:9 aspect ratio

My child loves the game. Exactly what he wanted and it challenges him to beat the stages unlike some of the newer games were there are no real puzzle solving skills.

Sonic Origins Plus is a vast improvement over the original Sonic Origins released in 2022. They have fixed the glitches, made Amy Rose a playable character in all 4 games, made Knuckles playable in Sonic CD and Gave us 12 game gear titles. The only downfalls are that the 12 game gear titles are DLC content and not on the cartridge/disc and Sonic 3 still had to resort to using the prototype/PC music for 3 of it's stages due to it having samples/work from deceased artists like Michael Jackson, Heavy D, James Brown and Run DMC (Jam Master Jay). My only gripe is that they didn't just directly use the tracks from the prototype. I understand not being able to use the soundtrack as it appeared on the original release. But they re-made the original prototype tracks from scratch and they don't sound as good. Overall, with the music changes and the game gear games being DLC, It's still a very solid collection and well worth the $40. These 2D Sonic Games are Classics and look amazing in HD and in Widescreen. ... show more
