  • Fun to build, code, and fun to play with!!!
Style: Robot
This bot was fun! It was a little hard getting the coding wheel in it's place. I liked using a screwdriver (not included)! I also liked coding and building it! I recommend buying this for your child!!!

  • If plastic quality can be improved, this would be a huge hit
Style: Robot
Can we please get replacement wheels? My kid loved the gift and spent 6 hours building the drawing-bot and was very excited to see it draw designs on the paper. But after the painstaking assembly, on the very first try, the wheels come off. The plastic axles on the wheels are cracked. She’s now very disappointed. This is a brilliant concept and design for teaching Mechanical Coding and if the plastic quality can be improved, this would be a huge hit. ... show more

  • Big hit for Camp Grandma!
Style: Robot
This kit was a huge hit with my very capable 14 year old grandson. I bought it as the activity for us to do together for Camp Grandma. He absolutely loves it….he (the robot) has made us both laugh! He has such a character about him! Fairly easy to assemble, but not for a 10 year old as it says 10+ on box. Instructions are well written and thorough. We are very pleased and are enjoying this. Wonderful value! ... show more

  • Some pieces don't have perfect fitment, but good toy
Style: Robot
A little challenging for 8 year old to assemble, needed parental support. Probably could be assembled independently by an average 9-10 year old. The rotating "programming" piece is slightly rudimentary, and slightly difficult to "program", but with some Jimmy'ing made it work.

  • Didn’t last very long and time consuming
Style: Robot
Bought this robot in Nov. of 2020. Gifted it to my child who had a hard time getting any of it put together. We knew we would would probably end up building it, but still though he might be able to help with more than popping out the parts from the plastic. Despite this and hours of putting this thing together he still love it. Each time you want to change what it does it takes a while to take it apart and assemble it with its new pieces. Again, still loved it. He played with him him probably 4 to 5 times a month. We are a few days ahead of thanksgiving 2021 and “Wally’s” (we named him) wheels have broken right off rendering him useless. ... show more

  • it’s just
Style: Robot
It’s a cool toy. It was a lot of fun to put together. But I should have read the description before buying because I thought it would be able to work with my phone or iPad. It doesn’t. it’s a cool coding wheel which helps to get more comfortable with the smaller details.

  • Fun and educational robot
Style: Robot
This is a very unique STEM product that teaches coding in a creative way without the use of computers or typical coding languages. The robot is coded by attaching small blocks to the center wheel. Those blocks hit various levers as it rotates that trigger breaks, backwards movement, or functions such as throwing a ball. While this is educational, it is limited in it's coding education. The programming is very procedural. Each time the wheel goes around the code will be exactly the same. There are no sensors or if/then logic that are common in other robot kits. The educational benefits of this are more focused on understanding the engineering of how it all works. It's important to note that this needs to be assembled from 200+ pieces. The robot is appropriate for a 10 year old to build, but I'd strongly recommend adult help when building it. Putting it together took us a couple hours. Overall, we've really enjoyed the robot and had fun with the different modules that are included in the box. Definitely recommend as an activity for kids that doesn't involve screentime. ... show more
