  • Great value safety shoes
Size: 10.5 X-Wide Color: Black/Black
I have been having a hard time finding safety shoes that are wide enough to fit my feet. Decided to try these out and PERFECT! Finally and X-Wide that is actually X-WIDE. Very comfortable shoe, the steel toe does not bind my toes like I have experienced with other brands. They are solidly built, comfortable and fit right. I think the insoles will likely not hold up well, but I have customs that will be in these shoes as soon as they are fitted to them. ... show more

  • DESIGNED TO WORK
Size: 10 Color: Black/Charcoal
I am really very pleased with this purchase, since this shoe despite having a metal cover on the front, is such a special shoe to work and so comfortable that it does not weigh much and the size runs normal.

  • Very comfortable and lightweight, not slip resistant
Size: 11.5 Color: Pebble/Black
Very comfortable, a lot more so than my Keens that I tried out. I work in a machine shop for 10-12 hours a day and just with the stock insoles, my feet don't hurt by the end of the day. I will be putting insoles in them soon since I don't think the memory foam ones they come with will last long. This is my second pair of Skechers, and they definitely deliver on comfort right out the box. I have a little bit of a wider front toe box, and they give me enough room where I don't feel cramped, but I also don't slip around. They run true to size for me compared to my tennis shoes. Breathable compared to my keens, kept my feet pretty cool throughout my day. Good support, definitely for mid high arches. Flexibility isn't great right out the gate but neither were my last pair of Skechers, they needed a little break in before they started to flex and give. Lightweight like composite. Only negative thing is if you work around coolant in machine shops, they are not slip resistant whatsoever, even though it doesn't say slip resistant, it said good traction control, I think that's more for dry conditions. I fear for my life when I have to step into my machine on the table that has coolant on it, feel like I'm on black ice lol. For the price, definitely worth it if you don't need something that's slip resistant. ... show more

  • Very Comfortable Steel Toe Shoes
Size: 8.5 Color: Pebble/Black
These Skechers Cankton steel toe shoes are very comfortable and well made. The steel toe feels solid and safe, and the memory foam insole makes them easy to wear all day without foot pain. They have a roomy fit and don’t feel too heavy for a safety shoe. I also like that they look more like athletic shoes than bulky work boots. Great value for the price — I would definitely recommend them for everyday work use. ... show more

Great work shoes! Fit is perfect. Very comfortable with the gel sole. I will definitely buy these again when I need a new pair.

  • Comfortable working shoes
Size: 10.5 Color: Black/Charcoal
As I run a lumber yard, I walk around a lot and I still have to do some computer work, these are great to keep me comfortable. Great fit and durable with the composite toe and style to keep me versatile for constant movement. The memory foam makes them very comfortable for all day wear.

  • Not super durable
Size: 10.5 X-Wide Color: Black/Charcoal
Great shoes in comfort. They do not last long sadly. If you’re a welder you’ll be having to buy a new pair every month.

  • Stiff Sneaker
Size: 9 Color: Pebble/Black
Now that I've had these for a month now, and wear them 12 hours a day 5 or 6 days a week, I feel confident they've had time to break in. Initially, they were a little stiff. I expected them to be a little tight, so I ordered half a size larger than regular sneakers, but I realized that appears unnecessary as there is plenty of room in the toe. After a couple of days I started to feel a seam in the liner that was bothering me across my little toe, and I was not wearing these every day yet, but I decided to press on to see if they broke in by wearing them daily and eventually I forgot about it. When I remembered I realized they were no longer bothering me. That was about a week. I've now worn them four weeks. I spray them with Tinactin deodorant after every use, because my foot gets fairly wet with sweat after 12 hours and I've previously had trouble with athletes foot. I know fungus can build up in shoes worn too often, and this can not only cause athletes foot, but also break down the material in the shoe itself. The shoe needs to dry out between uses. Also worth noting, the memory foam insole is comfortable, but not my preference. It is not however, removable, and there is insufficient space to double-up insoles. I have run in these a fair distance and short jaunts, and kicks, and side-stepping and have never felt the steel toe. The sole is stiff and squeaks on some surfaces, and walking through puddles causes no leaks. The top is tuff also, minor scrapes cause no damage. Of course YMMV, I wear these in a warehouse only and change in the car. They are a little dusty from the black dust in the warehouse, but no dirt or mud. Mud and salts can dry the material and cause cracking and rotting. How some have reported such damage so quickly I cannot say, but these appear to hold up very well for my usage, although I do believe the insole will be the first to go. Which is why I don't like memory foam for insoles. They are great for comfort for a large variety of foot shapes, but they are not as durable as a specific-shaped insoles. I plan on getting a black pair to alternate with these. The only desires I have in these is a composite toe that doesn't set off a metal detector, and a lower price. I ordered the beige style that is somehow twice the price of the black style. I don't know the difference as to why. $50 is outstanding, $90 is worth it, but why pay more? Update 6/14/24 After about six months the insoles finally crapped out. When I finally got around to ripping them out they came out easily, I guess the glue broke down over time. Now with new insoles they are fully functional again and the outer is still in good condition, see image. ... show more
