Super easy to install have it paired to a kenwood ddx3ex great option for head unit, little tricky finding a good strong ground in my Cherokee, once I got that figured out,smooth sailing.Sounds great hits great gonna wait a week or two before I tune the amp to allow time for the subs to have and do their break in period. So.. I’ve been out of the game for a bit. I mean.. back when I first got into subwoofers Cerwin Vega was a top dog. I’ve gotta say.. for the price, this kit hits HARD. Super low bass. The box is well built. A bit heavy. But I wanted it to be robust. It barely fits in my Audi a4. Honestly, I probably would have been just as happy with the dual 10” set up to save some trunk space.. but dang.. this set up is loud. The amp placement in this photo is temporary until can get the mounting bracket I’m having made completed. But you’ll see in the photo how huge the enclosure is. The whole kit arrives well packaged. There’s nothing to hooking it up. Super easy. Short of getting competitive, these are a deal for the insane power you get and they look great! If you’re on the fence, Just buy it. This is an amazing all in one package for a beginner with above average install skills. This is not a beginner sound though, I was blown away by the quality and the sound! Very nice finishes and solid craftsmanship. I don't think I could've built this kit myself for the price. Would definitely recommend this 100%. very amazing! they fit in my car PERFECTLY! (09 vibe) and they bump hard even while breaking them in still! they dont use up too much power either as i still have yet to get any sort of dimming lights (paired with a skar 1200w amp). these are very possibly the best subs you can get for the value!!

This setup JAMS HARDCORE! Best slam for the buck!! Ive been out of the car audio world for 14 years or so, and wanted to add some bass to my car and a friend reccomended Skar to me. I was just looking for something moderate and I got to say these subs beat my expectations ten-fold. Back years ago when I was into car systems, sealed boxes were the only way to go and I would have never thought ported could slam as hard as these do, they jar my car on the lows and are very loud on higher notes. I had to add two more screws to my licence plate because it makes the trunk lid viberate so strong, they are *seriously* impressive. The amp is nice and powerful, has a selectable 6/12db bass eq, lp and ss filters and includes a bass remote. The system arrived a week earlier than estimated, and they were fortunately unharmed during shipping via fed ex. Nice plus is that the install kit included is the oxygen-free copper set and even included zip ties. They look geat in my car, and the weight of the box keeps them from sliding around so I can leave them unsecured and remove them if I need extra trunk room or to get to the spare tire. I am sold on Skar products, 5 stars from me and I will reccomend them to anyone looking for solid subs from now on. In the future im planning on replacing the rest of my cars speakers with Skar 4ohm 3-ways since my car has a factory amp and already uses 4-ohm drivers. 😎👍 ... show more

Size: Dual 12" D4 Loaded Enclosure with Amplifier
First off, these showed up promptly with no hiccups. My initial impression was that everything seems to be of high quality, the box is really nice and the wiring kit is nicer than a lot I've worked with, probably one of the best ones I've used. A lot of cheap kits claim to be 4 gauge and it's 6 or 8 gauge wire inside a enormous insulator, this was not the case, the wiring is also very flexible which indicates high quality and makes for less hassle when it comes to running the cable. Not gunna lie, when I pulled the amp out of the box and saw how little it was my heart kinda sank, but as soon as it was all hooked up and running it was quickly bounced back into place. These things hit SO HARD and sound SO CLEAN. I'm 100 percent satisfied after running them for 3-4 hours. Something to keep in mind is the box is enormous, it takes up 80 percent of my 08 tsx trunk, the box is about 20% larger than I expected, but it's about 30% louder than I expected it to be, so it still comes out on top. I might swap to 1 12" evl in the future, but as someone who has owned 10 or so "budget" bass setups this setup is incredible for the value. No sticker though!
