The blow dryer works at drying so quickly, without overheating my hair. It helps maintain a smoothe look, without having to constantly run a brush through it while drying. The curling tool is phenomenal. It leaves the prettiest, smooth soft curls. I love that the cool setting button is easily accessible. This is an awesome product. I was a bit skeptical about paying so much for a hair styler, but I got it for 50% off on Black Friday. I was very surprised at how great it worked on my hair - I have curly hair that just gets frizzy if I don't do anything to it. I always used a blow dryer brush, straightening iron, and curling iron to do my hair. I can tell you that the paddle brush attachment smooths my hair out so well (and fast too) - I don't even need a straightening iron any more. The round brush attachment makes great waves if you want a bouncier look. It took me a few trys to master the curling attachments (there is a left and right attachment) - but once I got the hang of it, it became very easy to use. I finally pulled the trigger on the Shark FlexStyle after eyeing both this and the Dyson Airwrap for a long time, and I’m really glad I did. I’ve had it for a couple of months now, and it’s become a staple in my hair routine. I already owned a Drybar hair dryer with a round brush attachment, so I felt pretty comfortable jumping into this. One of my favorite things about the FlexStyle is the versatility—you can swap out attachments depending on what you’re trying to do, whether that’s smoothing, adding volume, or going for curls. I’ll be honest though—I’m still not perfect at using it yet. During the process, things can look a little messy while I’m styling, especially as I’m working through sections. That said, the end result always turns out good, even if it doesn’t look super polished mid-style. I think it’s more of a learning curve than an actual issue with the tool. Even with that, I still really like it and reach for it often. I’ve also struggled a bit with getting my curls and volume to fully hold, but I realized a lot of that came down to the products I was using. Once I switched things up, it definitely helped, so I think product choice plays a big role with this tool. If you’re trying to achieve that 90s blowout vibe, I actually think this is easier—and maybe even less time-consuming—than using hot rollers. That’s just my personal opinion, but it feels more streamlined once you get into a rhythm. It’s definitely a higher price point, but I do think it’s worth it if you’re going to use it regularly and this is a look you’re consistently trying to achieve. This is the best hair dryer! It has 4 different heat settings, 1 of them is no heat, so cool air. The wrap part is a little tricky to figure out but it comes with great instructions. it is very loud I will say, I’d recommend using earbuds or airpods while you blow dry. As someone who is prone to headaches I try to use my airpods while I use this. I have trouble getting my curls to hold, but that’s probably my hair and not the tool itself. ... show more

This thing is fantastic — once you understand what it actually is and how to use it. The Shark FlexStyle is not a traditional curling iron. You’re not clamping dry hair and blasting it with heat. Instead, it styles damp hair using air, and once that clicked for me, everything made sense. The multiple heat and airflow settings are great, and I honestly love almost everything about it. It dries and styles at the same time, feels much gentler on my hair, and gives really nice results once you get the hang of the technique. I use it weekly, which says a lot for a hair tool in my house. That said, it is a bit bulky. With all the attachments, you’ll want a designated spot to keep it organized. Traveling with it is doable, but definitely more of a project than tossing a curling iron into a bag. Overall though, I’m very happy with this purchase. If you’re willing to learn how it works and accept that it’s a different styling method, it’s a really impressive tool and absolutely lives up to the hype for me. ... show more
