I couldn’t be happier with this Storage Plug Lock-in Insert, Split Fix for my SBA3 SB Tactical Braces. I was hesitant at first due to the lack of a retention ring around the outside of the insert. But, that was for nothing. My SB braces had been in use and in storage for a while now and were really out of shape. This insert fit snugly and stayed in place. It brought the arm portion back into its designed shape. The brace now feels structurally sound with the arm strap tightened. This plug is an excellent piece of equipment that I have zero worries or doubts about it not keeping the shape of the brace perfect. I truly believe you will not find a better storage plug regardless the price. I have three on various caliber AR 15’s and another on a .308 Savage 110 PCS and I couldn’t be happier. Fit perfectly in the SBA3 brace and the strap cut outs keep it in place. I gave up on the goofy “storage” inserts, you can store anything in them until the first round then you’re picking your stored items up off the ground. This insert is ultimately the best lightest option.
