The media could not be loaded. First backpack vacuum I’ve had. It was very easy to clean wood and tile floors for approx 1800 sq ft. I never had to move the plug and it’s easy to maneuver around with it on. Much quicker than the shop vac we currently use which has good suction but is bulky to drag through the house. If you watch the videos you can see the power it has. We are doing some construction so I haven’t deep vacuumed (dug out the cracks in the floor) since before Christmas. I went over it with the head on and you can see how much more pulled up with the head off. I’m very impressed!! We have 4 dogs, 3 cats and live on a farm with lots of other animals so we are constantly tracking in debris and dog hair. This gal picked it all up and then some. I also put a picture of the bag and marked how full it was after all that. In the picture showing the size of the vacuum for reference I’m 5’5’ and it isn’t too big or bulky. I love how the motor is at the base of the pack so it’s not right in your ears as you use it. It ran way quieter than the shop vac for sure. I will update my review if needed after a few weeks use. This is a powerful vacuum, the suction is good, it is lightweight and easy to maneuver. It's very quiet! The backpack setup is secure and easy to adjust for different people using it. Good quality buckles. Easy to change the bag, decent size too. I have a hard time not humming the Ghostbuster song when using it... On to the negatives, which this may seem long, but it's just very specific. There is nothing "on board" about this vacuum as advertised though. There should be an additional bag or clips to keep accessories handy. Dealing with a business that has three levels, having to return to the main floor, or trying to tote around all the brushes, attachments, and tubes is not ideal. We have different flooring through out the business, so it's a unique situation, but not uncommon. The metal tube doesn't seem to want to stay connected well until the vacuum is on. There should also be some way of keeping track of the cord when it isn't being used. I also hoped that there would be more adjustability in the metal tube, as it functions differently for one employee that is quite a bit shorter. Overall, this is a solid option for a commercial vacuum. Fantastic cord length makes for not having to stop to unplug constantly. Great variety of attachments. Could be better in a couple areas, but that shouldn't over shadow all the benefits! ... show more

My situation - Using in small, mid-century home on wood floors and some rugs. With 2 shedding corgis, vacuuming up drifts of dog hair is a primary goal. I also have a new, full-size upright corded vacuum by a well-known brand that wasn't cheap. Used each vacuum a few times now and feel I can give a fair assessment. Summary - Vacuuming in far less time & effort w/ this, and happy with results. Definitely recommend for homes w/ primarily hard floors. Not recommended for fully carpeted homes; it's made for flat, utilitarian carpeting like you find in offices and waiting rooms, where it likely excels. The upright pulls dirt and hair out of rugs better because that's what it was made for (with a beater bar and such), and what I’d recommend for residential carpeting. Details: Performance - Makes quick work of pet hair on hard floors, often sucking it up from a few inches away. Not as good at cleaning dense area rugs than my upright but does enough to meet my standards (it can’t get all the fur off 1 rug not sure why, it does better on the others). The long metal tube is easy to get under furniture; the tube can rotate for the end to make contact with the floor, while the other vacuum sometimes gets air instead of the floor because of the fixed end. Tube + hose is so long, it can get unwieldy in my space, but not complaining, it is made for larger spaces. Dusting brush was very satisfying to clean vents and baseboards. Upholstery tool did surprisingly well on the couch, so easy I felt motivated to flip the cushions and get under those too. Effort - I'm 5'8" tall, slender woman w/ decent stamina. The upright vacuum gives me a workout and strains my back; it's heavy, hard to turn, and requires taking apart and carrying by hand to get under furniture, and because the hose is short, I must get right on the ground to do it while the canister constantly falls over. Backpack vacuum easier on me- the only time it strains my body a little is if I must bend over often, so if I clear the area beforehand, effort is minimal. You need to adjust it well for your body, then the vacuum feels about as heavy as wearing a full backpack, while pushing & pulling is swift and lightweight. However, I don't think it's the best choice for perhaps an older person with balance issues. Materials/Design - Feels lots sturdier than other new vacuums (mom has an old vacuum that's been going for decades but can't find anything like that anymore). Cord is super long which is great but can get tangly, need to get better at managing it. Nowhere to stash the cord on the vacuum. Power button on front of waist belt is convenient. Its basic design is a plus, just 2 wide attachments for either bare floor or carpet, w/ crevice tool, dusting brush, and upholstery tool that are easy to change out. Uses bags and must hold a lot because it's sucked up a ton of fur and haven't needed to change it yet, assuming I'll know when the vacuum loses suction. The upright is bagless and requires emptying several times during use. I prefer bags myself. Bottom line - Price-wise, this retails for less than my upright vacuum, feels durable, gets the job done quickly w/ less strain on my body, and works well on hard floors, which is what I mostly have, so I think it's worth the price if that all sounds good for you too. ... show more
