I used these for my car audio system to distribute a 1/0 AWG power wire to the amplifiers from the battery. I also used to send the grounds to a single point. In between all of these was a capacitor. So I needed multiple inputs to consolidate and this did not disappoint. Rockford is known for its quality and this block is an example of what Rockford delivers. This is a hefty component, unlike some of the other distribution blocks I've purchased. I got a Stinger power block which was good but this is so substantial, it just reeks of the kind of component you want in a dope, high quality build. Product works as it should. I myself had no problem with the cover staying on as others have mentioned. It made installing 2 amps in my ford ranger much easier by only having to run 1 power wire from the battery. Only down side is that the 1/0 side seemed a little small but hey not all power wire is the same size across all brands on the market so it could be on the wire side and not the terminal block side that's off. I have used this distribution block befor so there was no hesitation on making this purchase. Especially if you are looking for a true 0 to 0 gauge block. This is a great 1:1 block to purchase. Bought this to split the 4AWG from battery to a 400x4 and a 500x1 both power series. Works perfectly and matches amps perfectly. The clear plastic cap pops off and gives access to hex-screws that connect the wires. The external holes are nice and allow it to be mounted anywhere. I used a separate plywood plank to mount both amps and this block. Recommend to anyone that needs to split their 4/1 gauge power in half, probably to run multiple amps in back. ... show more
