The rack did not come with installation instructions or installation hardware as advertised. I suspect I was sent bars that may have been returned as one bar had a small cut on the plastic grip. With that said I was able to figure out the installation and only needed an Allen wrench. The racks look good, seem sturdy and made no wind noise when I test drove on the freeway. I’ve tried using other roof racks before and this was by far the easiest to install and it seems very sturdy! I’ve used it to carry my kayak - these bars work better then attaching a j-rack

These roof racks are great for the price. The mounting hardware came with 1 each extra bolt in case you lose something: A detail which I really appreciate for items like this. The cross bars themselves are extremely strong and the mounting towers are very good quality, so this is where this product shines. The finish is excellent and should last a long time. Everything was easy to assemble with enough adjustability to account for minor issues of alignment. As for negatives, these racks do not have the strongest latch cover and locking system. The locks are pretty cheap, basic, and offer minimal security but they work. The key did not turn smoothly in two of the locks and it was a struggle to get it locked on. The latch cover is plastic and not the highest quality or fit. The tower covers do not mate up to my roof rail and roof line perfectly, so there is a small gap and some whistling noise at highway speeds. Nevertheless, the part that counts -bars, towers, and bolts- are very solid and should hold up well. For less than half the price of OEM racks, these are a good buy. ... show more

These cross bars are great overall. They look awesome and add a nice sporty look to my 2020 rav4. They seem really sturdy and I like the material and matte color. I also like that there is no logo. My wife and I installed them pretty quickly and easily. We had one hiccup where it was a little difficult getting the front cross bar in the slots, but we just had to finagle it and got it! It seems like they’re good quality, especially for the price. They were easy enough to assemble, but the instructions weren’t super clear for a non-engineer layperson like myself. For reference, I am a 29 year old woman who doesn’t do much with her car besides drive it, clean it (sometimes), and put gas in it (ha). So far I did notice whistling when I go over 40 or 45 mph. I wonder if there’s a way to combat that? ... show more
