I grew up building bicycles, these are solid bikes. I recommend cleaning the tapered part of the handlebars and where they go on the gooseneck. It's painted and will make you work to tighten them down. Grease your crank bearings more doesn't hurt if you want it to ride pro smooth, good luck!

I bought it and put it together for my friend’s teenage son. He loves it. As others stated, the wheels and seat post/seat combo should probably be upgraded for serious bmx but what do you expect for $200. The frame and cranks alone are worth that. It doesn’t matter what you spend, you always want to upgrade anyway. I bought a set of 4 matching pegs to replace the 2 it came with. Packaged well and arrived promptly. ... show more

It’s OK, but the two things I don’t like you can’t adjust the seat . You can make it higher or lower but the angle it’s at you cannot adjust. Also, the chain guard is a joke. If those two issues weren’t there, I would give it five stars
