  • Best saddle pack I’ve tried
Size: Small Style: Ranger 2.0 - Black
I’ve used some hard and soft shell saddle packs, and the SpeedSleev is the best of all of them! The small size Ranger tucks under the saddle nicely and fits my spare TPU tube, CO2 canister and pump, multitool, and tire levers perfectly. It’s a pretty tight fit, but that means the saddle pack doesn’t move. ... show more

  • It's roomier than it looks, but it's a bit awkward.
Size: Large Style: Ranger 2.0 - Black
I'd grabbed this based on another review that mentioned how these are the best. I'm not entirely sure about that, but it is a well made saddle bag that holds more than it looks like it should. I just wish it mounted better and was easier to use. My old bag had a zipper closure on the back; this has a lid, with elastic sides and a velcro flap to hold it closed. For some folks, this may be a great design. But, I find it difficult to get into, as I have other things on the back of my bike. I'm also underwhelmed with how it mounts. There's only the strap that wraps around the bars on the bottom of the bike seat. Nothing attaches to the seat post. My old bag had another velcro closure that attached to the seatpost and I feel like it would be very helpful on this bag. It wants to hang oddly and I think an additional mounting point would help hold it where it should be. But, I do like the dimensions. My old bag was fully crammed and it was unable to accommodate all the things that I'd like to have ready access to. This can. Heck, I still have room left over. I do like that it can be tightened up to a smaller size if you don't have it crammed to it's limit, but man, I really dislike the placement and design of the closure. Maybe on a bike that has less crap on the back of it than mine does this would work better, but on my bike, getting into this bag is more of an operation than I'd like. I'm trying to decide whether to MacGuyver it a bit and see if I can make it more user friendly. For a road bike that is carrying minimal additional stuff this may be a great bag, but on my mountain bike that's full of other things, this is sub-optimal. ... show more

  • Finally a decent small saddlebag that holds all the essentials
Size: Medium Style: Ranger 2.0 - Black
I have the medium saddlebag which holds all the cycling essentials in a well secured bag. Convenient compartments prevents stuff from rattling around. Material appears to be durable and overall the product is well constructed.

  • Holds tools and a 27.5/3" mtb tube
Size: Large Style: Ranger 2.0 - Black
I wanted to like this more than I do. Filled (inexorably) with too much crap (big tube, minipump, co2 cartridge, inflator, levers, tool) its top and bottom halves do not wish to remain joined, ends up like trying to stuff things in two rather short, stiff socks and then affixing the poorly/not at all joined result to the bike saddle. Nothing has fallen out yet, and it does not get mashed into the back tire when the dropper is used. If, like me, you're used to tidy and snug seat bags this seems rather a bodge. • A tight compact burrito-style pack for tools, patches, and accessories
Size: Large Style: Ranger 2.0 - Black
I was disappointed on first look at this under-seat bag, but warmed up to it quickly. It appears tiny for a large version of the bag like it would only hold one of those 7.5-oz mini-cans of soda. Storage for flat tools is ample though. The wrap-around strap has built-in flat pockets that can hold a pair of tire levers, spoke wrench, a flat multi-wrench tool, and a few hex wrenches. Some of these items are taller than the pockets, but they stay in place from the tension when the strap is pulled taut and secured with the velcro closure and capped by the top piece. The main open compartment holds my tube patch kit and a baggie of fasteners. My patch kit comes in a small plastic box, but I don't really need all the contents on every ride, so I can bag up a few patches, glues, rasps, and sandpaper in a small envelope pouch to save even more space. I plan to pack an extra inner tube, a small first aid kit, and a hand air pump; and don't think it'll be a problem. The whole thing wraps up like a tight tortilla on a stuffed burrito and secures under my seat compactly. It does block my back reflector which needs to be relocated. This bag is part of my emergency-preparedness strategy and provides more confidence to go on longer rides and explore different terrains without fear of being stranded. ... show more

  • Am I doing it wrong? Needs another Velcro attachment
Size: Large Style: Ranger 2.0 - Black
The media could not be loaded. I like the concept, but on the first setup I found what I consider to be a major design flaw. Why is there no attachment for a seatpost at the end of the bag? Even tightening as much as I could, this bag wiggles when weighted. For the smaller bags, which don't stick out as far, you wouldn't be able to use a seatpost attachment. But for this longer bag, I'd say it's a necessity. I hate having bags rattle around while I'm riding and hitting bumps. If not for the lack of a second stabilizer point, I'd give this bag full marks. It's small, sleek, and the easiest to open of any seatpack I've ever tried... But I can't use it like this. I think I'm going to try and sew (or use epoxy) on a Velcro strap so I can secure it to my seatpost like any other saddlebag. They could have easily added one, and people could have had the choice not to use it... They made the decision for the customer though, and I don't like it. I will NOT be using this bag until I've had it modified. ... show more
