The directions were pretty clear. It took me a little less than an hour to put it together myself. The only reason I did not rate it a five is because of the drawers. The back piece of the drawer should also have slid into the bottom piece. Instead, you have to nail it down. i

This was fairly easy to assemble, but at first I just tried to get by assembling it with a screwdriver. It took a lot of unnecessary effort on my part, so I would totally recommend going the drill route. My only gripe is that one of the drawers is slightly "wonky". I can't figure out why, but it dangles down slightly. As long as I keep this drawer on the bottom, you typically can't tell that it sags slightly at all. I followed the instructions perfectly and both drawers seem to have been assembled exactly the same. At first I thought that maybe it was the drawer slot itself that was wonky, but when I switched the drawers around, it turns out that it is the drawer itself, not the slot. So, my answer is to keep the wonky drawer on bottom where it's less noticeable. But like I said, other than that, everything is great. It was an inexpensive bedside nightstand so I can't hardly complain about such a minor defect which *might* even be my own fault somehow. ... show more

I bought two of these, one for each side of the bed, of course. I gave four stars because on both of them the screws for the drawer handles aren't quite right. Out of four screws and handles, I had to find a screw that would work from my spare screw case on one of them because the screw didn't fit at all and on a second one the screw doesn't fit tightly, but it's good enough for my side of the bed since I will rarely use it (bottom drawer). The color is close to the picture, there were very few scratches or damaged areas and a color marker came with each stand so it was easy to touch up the few very minor defects. This is all pressed wood with veneer finishes. Thus not the most sturdy furniture, but certainly acceptable. I recommend. ... show more

Nightstand is beautiful. I added pink knobs to give it some pop. The instructions where understanding after studying it butttttttt, they threw all the screws in the bag and I had to sit there and figure out each screw and that was time consuming. The company could have at least separated all the screws for me. Nothing was labeled so I had to figure out what was the cabinet what was the draw and then I had to Google the drawer just to get an understanding. The wood where they made the holes is a little weak. As soon as I started screwing the screw in the wood started chipping off. It recommends you use a power drill but I donโ€™t recommend that at all.
