This is wonderful, the colors are bright, true to color. Responsive to the remote. Extremely well made, durable. Perfect to put outside and shine on a tree without climbing the tree to put X-mas lights on it, while risking life and limb (pun intended) while out on a limb placing that final critical X-mas light. The story of my life, last thing I do typically is the most difficult and perilous. I purchased a laser light last year (still works & it is a true laser light) from a local store, this Laser light is far superior, far more rugged, and provides more coverage with brighter pin points of light. Very, very pleased, will check back during the season to let folks know how it preforms given our cold and snowy weather here. ***Edit 01/16/2020*** I finally wound up climbing on the roof of the garage (interesting hobby for a 67 year old female), hauling up a 60lb sand bag, laser light and an extension cord. This light shone on my 100+ foot cottonwood tree for the season. Spectacular, the whole cul-de-sac loved it, and I was just tickled beyond pink. We had two pretty good snow storms, seriously freezing weather, with wind that exceeded 30 mph (reason for sandbag and attaching the laser stand to a pair of 2X4's with the sand bag holding them down, we get wind here), this laser did not skip a beat. Reached the very tippy top of the cottonwood tree and sparkled all season long. I really would have loved to keep it up year round, but....it would not be feasible, it is a Christmas kind of thing. So, this device weathered some extreme temperatures, snow that covered it (I had to climb up and brush it off) and strong winds with no hiccups. Recommended purchase, the remote worked from the ground as well, no issues there.

I don't know why I did not know about these type lights earlier. We were traveling a saw some at a resort. They were using them to light up their landscaping. They really caught my eye and looked great. Our home is a corner lot. We set up icicle type lights around the eaves. They wrap around the light up two sides. Same with the net lights and string lights we use on the scrubs around the yard and the courtyard. But, we have three trees that I do not light up. I do not want to climb ladders and try to wrap lights around the trees. But, they really should have lights. I though these might be the perfect solution, and they are. I purchased one as a test, but now will order a couple more to light up the rest of the trees. Set them at the base of the tree, they light it up all the way to the top. The moving lights twinkle just right. Perfect, quick and easy. The POE lights seemed like quality lights and they are. The include a stake, extensions and a base to mount. I use the stakes into the ground, but they also have a base for hard surfaces and they can be secured to fences, etc. Includes a cable lock to secure the light. It was very easy to set up, remote works great. These are really effective and eye catching!

I bought two of these and have had them out and running 24/7 for a full year now. They've been in sun, rain, snow, 100-degrees and -30 degrees and just WORK, faithfully. Minor points are that the remote is adequate enough (I mean, it does work, but feels like it cost 0.25 - which is probably did, and that's fine) and that probably because of the remote, the timer function doesn't work reliably. That's why they've been on 24/7 and that's also just fine; a testament to their overall durability! A bigger caveat is that the red dots are few and far between, and the blue dots are even rarer! This means that the light show is 99.9% green dots, with an occasional red or blue here and there. That said, these are a-m-a-z-i-n-g and bring constant joy to our night garden. Guests and neighbors alike have comments on how beautiful and dazzling they are... that they look like thousands of fireflies in the trees. So unless you have your heart set on lots or red and blue, definitely buy them because they create a gorgeous nighttime light show, and they have worked non-stop for over a year! I don't know if the lasers will age or "wear out" but if/when they do, I'll be buying another set because they make us happy to look at every single night.
