Description

The Performance Tool W85016 Pneumatic Stool offers versatility and comfort for various seating needs. Its removable backrest allows for two different seating options in one, serving as either an adjustable height chair or a stool. With pneumatic action, the seat height can be easily adjusted from 25 inches to 32 inches (63.5-81.3cm) to accommodate different users and tasks. The 13-1/2 inch (34.3cm) diameter synthetic leather foam padded seat swivels 360 degrees for added convenience. Constructed with a heavy-duty steel tubing frame and matte black powder-coated finish. The wide footstool base provides a solid foundation and doubles as a footrest for added comfort. Assembled, it measures 18 inches deep, 17 inches wide, and 42-1/2 inches high with the backrest (45.7 x 43.2 x 108cm).

Shipping was fast and the Swivel Bar Stool was easley assembled with no tools needed in about 2 minutes. The box it comes in is pretty heavy duty so it was in perfect shape when it arrived. I bought this specifically for a 40 inch tall table I use as a guitar work bench. So now I can either stand or sit at my work table. When the stool is lowered all the way its perfect for me to play guitar with my feet on the foot rest. I'm 5'8". Of course it adjusts higher for you lucky tall people..but shorter people might not fit comfortably. Speaking of the foot rest.. I like the fact that it's square and not a circle. It's just easier to adjust your feet or swivel the seat. The pneumatic ram seems solid and works smoothly, as does the lever that controls it. In my opinion you can't go wrong if your looking for an adjustable stool (26 inches up to 32 inches) I actually just put a tape measure on it for you. Comfort? well it's a stool not a lazy boy. I love the stool. Very comfortable and very easy to assemble. My only complaint is in ALL of the pictures it shoes the stool at its lowest, you can't see ANY part of the silver cylinder. It's like it won't go down to where you can see no silver. IF it would go down that little bit more, it would have been the PERFECT height for me. I am writing this immediately after assembly and initial try out. I plan to update after a few weeks. Unit comes as 3 pieces; the base, the stem/adjustable " absorber, and the seat. Assembly does NOT require any tools just press the stem into the base and the seat onto the top of the stem. Less than 10 minutes including unpackaging. It adjusts up and down easily. I removed a little plastic cap on the top of the stem before I pressed the seat on. I think it was there to cover the lubricant on the tip. I will use it when teaching a class once per week. ... show more

This chair was incredibly easy to assemble and I don't feel it's off-centered as others have described. The back is not as high as I hoped and angled strange so it's not much support at all honestly. I've owned the stool for a month and while it's still sturdy and spins smoothly, the stitching at the seam where the seat meets the back is already separating. The faux leather is very thin and is flaking off on the back in an area where its rubbed against my wall a few times as well. I feel like it's a over-priced for how long it's going to last. EDIT: After having the stool for 2 months, it has already broken and the seat no longer stays on straight. Part of it is plastic that attaches the seat to the center pole and it has cracked rendering unable to stay on straight. What a waste of money! ... show more

Chair is super comfortable unfortunately it is broken it is possible that I will just re-order another one. This is for my father, who is a musician, and he will not be able to work the lever ,that adjusts the seat. The tear in the box was literally where the lever was positioned. Cannot work the lever or disassemble the chair to send back in original box. Therefore, I included pictures. ... show more

The stool is very easy to assemble. Just three parts: the legs, chair and pneumatic post all stacked in a box. The seat part was wrapped in a plastic bag but with no other protection from the metal legs. Mine arrived with several scuffs on the sides, but the all the cover material seemed intact - no rips or punctures. As mentioned in some other reviews, remember to remover the plastic cap from the top of the pneumatic post or the level won't work well, and the chair won't set firmly onto the post. The biggest issue was the seat foam offered no support at all, making the seat very uncomfortable to sit on. I'm guessing it was old foam because it sounded crunchy when I sat on it. I barely weigh 145 lbs and the cushion would squish all the way to the wood base. I ended up returning the stool because it was too uncomfortable - my bony behind really needs a good cushion to sit on. ... show more
