I first received this nice thin and light solar battery charger in the fall of 2022, used it on my stored motor home all winter and seemed to keep the batteries up quite nicely. When I brought the MH back home I noticed the indicator lights were not working at all on the charger, so did not know if the unit was functioning as it should or not. After a few tries of trying to contact the seller they replied and were very nice and sent me out a new unit VERY quickly and for no charge. The new one is working fine with operational indicator lights functioning as they should. Hopefully this replacement unit will continue to work for a lot longer than the first one, as Ireally like this product and want to continue to keep using it. Four stars as the first unit did not last even close to a year.

I recently acquired another vehicle so my truck just sits in the driveway now. We have a rodent problem in our area so to keep rats out of my engine bay I have an electronic deterrent hooked up to the battery. That along with my alarm will eat up the battery in a couple of days if I don't run the vehicle. I have a battery charger but in order to use it I have to run a cable from inside my garage onto the driveway and into my hood. This got me thinking that here has to be a better way. That is when I came across this Oymsae Solar Charger. I had looked over a few but I wanted one that was at least 20 Watts and one that wouldn't break the bank. I was really worried that I would have to leave the solar panel outside the Vehicle and run cables into the hood of my truck. NOPE, this bad boy plugs straight into my cigarette lighter and the solar panel sits on my dash. After a few days of letting my truck sit I unplugged the charger, stuck my keys into the ignition and my truck fired right up without missing a beat. Now I will say if your vehicle's cigarette lighter doesn't have power when it is turned off you will have to run the alligator clips to your battery from the outside of the vehicle. But either way it still should work. This product is awesome and I can't recommend it enough!

Purchased this when I put a new battery in my truck that I only use occasionally 3-4 times a year so the battery would stay charged. It seemed to do fine for 8 months, then I went to use my truck and the battery was absolutely totally dead. After placing the battery on a NOCO charger for a day, it was charged fine. I used the truck for a couple of days and no issues. Plugged this solar charger back in and a week later the battery was too weak to start the truck. Charged it again with my NOCO charger for a day and the battery was good to go. Did not put the solar charger back on and two weeks later the battery was still charged great and starts the truck great. Plugged the solar charger back in and two days later the battery was almost too weak to start the truck. Charged again with the NOCO charger and did not put the solar charger back on the battery. Battery is still good without any charging since a month ago. Only conclusion is the solar charger now kills/drains the battery. Not good.

Failed within couple months customer service lacks in response time** update customer service sent me a replacement got it hooked up we'll see how long it lasts

This unit is pretty great has kept my fun car which usually sits for a month or more at a time I try to start it at least once every few weeks and this thing has kept it from dying for over 5 months before I would have to charge the battery every month because it would just run dead from the security system but I haven't had to do that since installing this will be getting another to put on my camper that also has a deep cycle battery I suspect this will keep me from having to replace that every 2 years as well.
